Hey Dippy I mentioned that on page 41. I was in Singapore for New Years. I forget the name of the shop. The 220D is a new release by Autoart. I payed Singapore $148 for it. It was listed at $185 and there was a discount. So roughly Rs.4k. The detailing on that car is mindblowing. Im sure it'll be available at Model Art soon. Ive only posted 4 out of the 9 cars I bought. Theres a couple more new releases.

Sunstar has launched a 220D too which I wanna get. Its cheaper and doesnt have Autoart quality but its got a lot of interesting details. Its got a sunroof with a wind deflector. Oh and its a working sunroof. I believe you push it down and it slides back. And I think its got worked sun visors inside. I love old BMWs and Mercs.

Sorry slipped my mind ... 4k is not bad at all for that masterpiece. i would rather pay 4k for this than 5k for a Maybach 62.. Youve picked up a great choice of cars. Its always nice to have model cars which are rarely found elsewhere especially in India

Some rare ones which I have is the 1:18 Knight Rider (just love it), the 2F2F Skyline and a couple of others

keep posting dude i'm loving every picture. if we were in the same city we could have clicked cars together in the open

Hey Dippy, I totally share that notion of getting scale models not found in india. Ive exhausted all the Maistos, Hot Wheels and BBuragos I could find I think, but next to these they seem like toys. But still love all my cars. Ive seen pics of your KITT and the Skyline. I love collecting cars which I would have bought if I could afford in real life. So its like a scale garage. I display the cars in the same manner. Would be great fun clicking cars together. Ill pbbly post a couple more cars today. Thanks for the comments!

Dude youre on your way to build up a fantastic collection of cars. Glad to have company. I like the fact that you have gone and bought some old school cars the like the BMW above this post

How is the minichamps quality? The only minichamps I have is the Jordan 191 F1 car. It's the car Schumacher raced in his first ever f1 race marking start to his F1 career. Its very special to me

Thanks a lot Dippy, this trip was really good for my collection. Ive seen pictures of your schumacher F1 car by minichamps. One of my close friends from school has the same car. Actually that friend hopefully might make it to F1 some day.

Minichamps quality is very good except for a few things here and there. They dont have carpetted interiors. And their head lights and tail lamps have those dots by which they are connected to the body work. I cant stand those dots. Even Maisto is slowly doing away with those. But Minichamps have working suspension (very slightly). The scale is accurate and the paint jobs are fantastic, all other detailing is great. No dog leg doors. Hinged bonnets. All 4 doors open. If they just fixed the lights and did carpets they would be at par with Autoart and Kyosho. But they were also marginally cheaper. When the Autoarts were S$155 and S$185, the Minichamps were S$120. Minichamps makes the Arnage in 1:18 which im desperately trying to source. It costs 200 USD on ebay. But looks mindblowing. They also make the E32 7 series. Autoart has the E21 3 series as well. I want to desperately add these two old school Bimmers to my collection.

Sinner try sometimes at these stock clearance sales. Youre sure to get 1:18 cars at a throw away price
