1:18 aside, Ebbro models makes the finest 1:43 scale models you can get. Most of the Honda and Mazda 1:43s are made by them and they cost as much as a normal 1:18 would. My neighbour who stays in Japan has just come down for a few days. Knowing my love for models, he got me a 1:43 1978 Mazda Rx7. You have to see the detailing on it to belive it. I will post pictures of it by tomorrow.

IXO is the other company which makes premium 1:43 cars. They make the Ambassador.

Plan to start 1:43 now as well when time and money permits.

Hey blackadder, Im extremely sorry about not posting the pics. Was crazy busy with work and never got home before dark to click pics. Ive now shifted base to Dubai, and will be in Chennai only once a month. And unfortunately the Bentleys are in Chennai. I shouldnt have mentioned the cars before clicking the pics. Really sorry once again. But there are some superb Kyosho and Exoto stores here in Dxb. Once I settle into my new place I'll start a new collection here. At Ikea yesterday, I saw an awesome glass shelf. Perfect for housing scale models. I'll try and pick up something new and post pics. By the way heard the Bentley Flying Spur is now out in 1:18. Im not a fan of the Continental GT, but the Flying Spur would go with my collection of Luxo-barges as I like to call them. Also want to add a Maybach 62 and the new AutoArt 600 Pullman Limo. Heard its huge.

No problem at all Beemer. I was just eager to see the Bentley. Seen it in Ebay pics but thats not quite like seeing in a collectors hands. Wishing you all the success in Dubai and hoping you expand your collection there too. I am sure models will be inexpensive in Dxb as compared to here. About the Autoart Pullman, it will be huge in size and hugely expensive too. Might easily pass the 4.5K they were asking for the 62.

Here's a pic of my Audi A8.I'd bought this car only for modding it,have a few other pix also but dont dont know to put multiple images.

List of mods done so far:

a)matte black headlights
b)side vinyls in silver
c)dragon vinyl on hood
d)painted the wheels to black

I know that some of you might find this crazy but then i was lookin for a sedan like this for a long time to mod it.Some of my other cars are hummer h2(dub city customs),lamborghini gallardo, ferrari f430 n plymouth gtx(pro rodz)

Ebay has it for $60

btw yesterday I bought a tin of MIN cream and polished my cars, It really makes a difference to the shine and leaves a nice protective coating. Besides that I also loovee the way it smells.

I reccomend it to all diecast collectors

Yep Min cream works very well on the models. I had recommended this earlier in the thread. Good going khanak.

@chetanhanda: I bought this in Mumbai. I dot think its available around now. Its the Tommi Makkinen EVO VI WRC. The detailing is beautiful.

Maybe I should post better pics. Let me know. I can start clicking all my cars again. I never get bored of that.
