Hi Tharian,
I picked up the P7 from Tinytown.in. They have partnered with "Precision Model Works." to sell the IR models. You could also pick it up through their website as well.
As for the ALCO's and EMD's, those plan on going into production sometime around March this year.

Re: The Scale Model Thread

1:43 Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger

The Aston Martin DB5 was the most recognized and Bond's provided vehicle for Bond movies Goldfinger(1964), Thunderball(1965), GoldenEye (1995), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), Casino Royale (2006), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015) and No Time To Die (2021),

It was "armed" with weapons & gadgets such as :

1. 2 X Browning .30 calibre Machine guns hidden each of the front indicators (which flipped down when in use)
2. Tyre-shredding blade concealed in the hub cap of the vehicle's nearside rear wheel is a chariot-style retractable blade. It was used to cripple Tilly Masterston's Ford Mustang in Goldfinger.
3. Bullet screen — Perhaps indicating its rear window had conventional glass, the DB5 came equipped with a bullet-proof rear screen in Goldfinger and Thunderball. Controlled from the center console, a sheet of metal rose from the boot to form a protective barrier across the window.
4.Tracking equipment — A precursor to the modern GPS device, the scanner displayed the position of a Homing Beacon on a monochrome display concealed behind the dashboard. In Goldfinger, it was used to follow Goldfinger's Rolls-Royce Phantom III. The device is stated to have a range of 150 miles.
5.Ejector seat — For an unwelcome passenger, the DB5 came equipped with an ejector seat. The trigger is concealed beneath a flip-cap on the gear-shift stick. When pressed, a section of the roof is jettisoned, along with the passenger seat and its occupant. It was featured in Goldfinger and mentioned, but not used, in Skyfall.
6. Oil sprayer — An oil sprayer was concealed behind behind the nearside rear light cluster. The resultant oil slick severely reduced road traction and allowed Bond to evade pursuers in Goldfinger. It was operated by toggles and switches hidden in the center armrest.
7. Smoke screen — In addition to other pursuit counter-measures, a thick smoke screen could be vented from the vehicle's exhaust pipes; reducing visibility for those following. As with the oil slick, 007 uses it in Goldfinger during his escape from Auric Enterprises.
8. Bullet-proof glass — In Goldfinger, the DB5's windshield had been reinforced to withstand impact damage from most conventional firearms. In No Time To Die, the Craig continuity DB5 is equipped with reinforced glass throughout.
9. Revolving number plates — The classic DB5 also came with rotating number plates, some of which included: "BMT 216A" (UK), "4711-EA-62" (France) and "LU 6789" (Switzerland).
10. Water cannons — For Thunderball, two high-pressure, rear-facing water cannons were added to the underside of the DB5. To achieve the effect two fire hoses were mounted under the vehicle, the hose pipes clearly visible in some shots.

Re: The Scale Model Thread

I am writing on T-BHP after ages, but yes, started working on my collection nearly 25 years ago with a couple of 1:24s from BBurago and then a 1:18 from Maisto. However I lost those in transit over time and only seriously started collecting 15-16 years ago.

These are some of the models I possess, starting from more recent ones to those I have picked up over time.

The first one is a 1:18 F40 by LBWK (Liberty Walk) by GT Spirit. I actually have a soft spot for resins due to their finish and are easier to maintain in our humid and dusty weather.

Re: The Scale Model Thread

These two were added a few weeks ago:

The first is a 1:18 Norev 560 SEL. You may also realise that I have a soft spot for modern classics and the aim is to get the ones I grew up reading and watching to be a part of the collection.

The second one is a GT Spirit 1:18 993 RSR. Love the finish GT Spirit gets and is fast becoming one of my favourite resin brands apart from Ottomobile.

Re: The Scale Model Thread

Damnn!
I am new in the team bhp forum and my word, did I expect to find soo many scale model enthusiasts here!?

Sharing few pics of my 1/24 collection.

This is by far my favourite - Green Hell Magno Mercedes-Benz AMG GTR! This is the same car(not this exact car) that's listed on Mercedes Benz's official website under the scale models section.

The Mercedes duo were imported before the pandemic. These are Welly models.

Although the Welly S-Class was available in India for a short time, I somehow didn't purchase it then, and ended up importing one.

Love the attention to detail on this SF90.
