Okay here's one from me. This pic was taken in the summer of 2006 in downtown Toronto. It's not very artsy as such, but I still quite like it.

Awesome TG!

I used to think you need a RAW image to do a HDR.
Can you please explain how you achieve this with JPEG? What exposures do you take usually?

@Riju
Thanks dude, and neat click there of your Baleno. Just loved the cleanliness associated with it. Great job!

@abhijitaparadh
Well the process to make HDRs from jpegs is exactly the same as you would use for RAW! No difference. But yes, RAW gives much better results. I really feel the pinch when i enlarge my jpegs, they get noisy. I counter it with Noise Ninja though to get the clean look.

Ok so heres another one, I am working on a portfolio for my Automotive clicks, and just tried some Advertisement shots for the EVO X. Here's one. Its an HDR of 4 shots, and fractalius filter applied in photoshop.

@manishasrani
A slight desaturation will surely help. Nice try though.

Heres a few more from the Evo series i recently worked on.

TG,

Get those EVO shots up on some evo forum / wallpaper sharing site. I'm sure they will have a lot of takers.

Welcome to this thread. A few suggestions / points to note :

1) Read the first page of this thread to understand its essence. Thought, composition and execution are key.

2) The huge watermark right across the picture takes away from it hugely. Is there really a need for such a large and intrusive watermark on a non-scoop pic? I can understand protecting your pics in other threads where the focus is on the cars, but in this thread where the focus is photography i don't think its ideal.

3) Why is the image so fuzzy? Heavy jpg compression or taken from a cellphone camera?

4) Take care about how you block out parts of the image. The grey/black splotch on the bikers face is a distraction, as well as a rectangule visible on the bottom right of the pic.

The F430 pic is nice. (Though note point #2 above) - and might have been more enjoyable at a higher resolution.

Cheers,
R

@anekho
Well thanks, as for the pic you think is out of proportion, well its a lens effect and it is how i wanted it and I really like it. Probably if you look around for a few automotive motion clicks, you will develop an eye for that kind of frontal stretched imaging to depict a sense of motion and dramatism. Infact, I would have loved a fish eye distortion for it! Well, will wait till I get my DSLR!

@Rehaan
Thank you buddy!!! Thank god there is only one Evo here, god knows what you wold have churned out in your super creative head, especially since I am in San Francisco

REgards,
Mukul.
