It will take few months to get used to it, after that you can't shoot without those controls. That power gets addicting.

Thanks, I changed quite some settings that day. In fact Steeroid complained about that for next few months.

Well i am addicted to clicking anyways! Haha! Saw this Corolla at sunset and did some editing on RAW, actually a first time for me. I did the entire thing in Adobe Lightroom, and then exported it as a TIFF into Photoshop CS4, lastly made a couple of layers of the same pic with varying exposures and finally did some masking.

Lovely one TG.

Now all it needs it for you to add some of that Rudra gloss to the car (and make the reflections less prominent).

Also, the two bright bulbs and the back of the STOP sign should be dimmed a bit as they can be distracting IMO.

PS - Is that a black 355 on the slope ?

And Mukul, that's a Camry, not a Corolla!

Nice shot though!

@Rehaan
Yeah, I too feel the same, I just tried to do something similar to Rudra's processing, here it is:

@IRaghava
Hehe, yeah it is a camry, all this while I thought it was the new corolla!

@Rockybalboa
I havent tried to churn out an HDR , actually I took just one exposure. I must get a cloudy sky, then an HDR will be surely on the cards! Unfortunately for the next 10 days, i checked the weather forecast...clear blue skies. Damn!

TG.

@ TG:Wow, amazing shot!

Am amazed by the processing Rudra does! Yours is pretty close. The tonality is very nice.

Here's an old shot (almost 3 yrs) I think I took this a few weeks after I bought the 6 using a Sony W30. The processing is a result of a lazy evening, dont remember what all I did!

Haha, it was the case with me for a few years as well!
Yeah Rudra's processing is the benchmark here.

Saw this Camaro while out for an evening stroll.

TG, i liked the Camry pic, but the Camaro has tree reflections which spoil the look.

I totally agree...it has tree reflections, i wish i knew the owner or owned the car...hehe, I just saw it parked somewhere and had to be happy with it. Damn!
Even this Audi was clicked like dat, under extremely restricted freedom of composition!

Nice Pics!

These are some nice pictures.

I have not been too blessed when it comes to clicking pictures but I am ok.

The processing really does wonders. Make the pics look like the ones that we see in ad campaigns!

Keep the good stuff flowing guys.

Same location, different car

I have posted pics of my Ikon which i had clicked at this spot earlier. This time the Alto played the muse.

Couldnt really help with the tree reflections, as there were trees all around.

great shots furious! The first two are awesome - wallpaper material!
The last photos is also good, though the shadow in the bottom left corner ruins the look.

cheers
