Why?
What does this image have to do with the one I commented on? I saw an image, had a thought/opinion/comment, and put it in a post. I didn't question Rudra's skill in any post. I don't need to be convinced of him being a good photographer or photoshopper. I don't really care if he is or is not. I'm just commenting on a picture. :S

@Rudra: No hard feelings. I am sure, looking at these pictures, that you are really good at photo(graphing/shopping). Please re-read my posts if you have any doubts on the same.

Re: The Auto-Image thread

Don't have to get that defensive. It was obvious that you are not familiar with Rudra or his work. So I wanted you to look at his earlier work.

Re: The Auto-Image thread

^ I prefer the pastel colours in the first picture. (Kind of rare to get)

The black and white is good too, but i feel like the contrast is too high / highlights are a little too blown out.

From a recent trip

Snow is always tricky when it comes to metering. and when its -7, keeping steady hands is also a challenge.
Anyways, here is a pic

Which route is this on? I mean is it the NH or is it the road to Elappara? Reminds me of the tight and bumpy KK Road before it became an NH and got a good layer of asphalt.

You are right, it indeed is the KK road, now better known as NH-183.

Still remember myself and wifey doing an adventurous (or risky, whatever) ride on my HH Splendor to reach Kuttikkanam, only to be greeted by mist, rain and cold. As it was getting dark fast in the evening, even without a bare minimum wind-cheater, we rode back all the way down drenched in the rain, on the strength of a hot tea from Kuttikkanam. This snap was taken from my mobile en route our ascent and I was lucky that my mobile could be saved by the puny first-aid-box of the Splendor.
