It was pretty rare until a few years back, but now hyperlapses and timelapses are getting pretty popular.
Thought I would start a thread for the same since timelapses do not fit in standard "Videography", and neither do they fit in "Photography". Ditto for Hyperlapses.

Anyways, my latest creations.
About 100GB of images, 10 hours of shooting. Took an hour to render too.
Panning done in software, and frame smoothing done with mvtools2

All processing in avisynth-virtualdub combo with avidemux for simple audio addition

Fantastic thread and fantastic videos. I wish i had the time to do this. Last year i did one while snowing only to realize that gopro at night time was not a wise choise. This year i am prepared to get something out using a DSLR (A7s) and a nice wide angle and set it up at my window to get some nice timelapse.

Its not going to be as pretty as yours

I am trying to find a video of me painting my apartment timelapsed and it was major fun.

The first video is stunning. The time requires to do this is currently not in my side with a 2 year old. But may be i will use that as a reason to shoot indoor timelapse

@Rehaan, The TDI video is nice. People will argue you can get that done with GOpro and editing but whats the fun in it when you can shoot 10000 pictures and create a nice action.

Excellent video Rehaan! I think I should try this too. Is this done on phone or an SLR?

BTW guys, here is my work. This was shot on SJCAM in South Mumbai mounted on Suzuki Swift. Just did some tweaks and the hyperlapse was ready. Hope you guys like it.

Actually this was video, not a series of photos (though really, not much of a difference!).

This was before I created my GoPro stabilization rig, which I'm sure would have really helped smooth things out.

Thanks. I used my SLR, but could be done with a cellphone too. The timewarp effect is done in Adobe Premiere.
