Ekta Kapoor makes Astra owners happy!!!

Actually, a bit too happy.

My aunt was watching here usual "Saas Bhi Kabhi...whatever" today, when suddenly...there was this scene where an Astra was being overtaken by an OHC.

The girl in the Astra (some despo) gets angry at this and rear ends the OHC. A fight breaks out between the 2 drivers and guy in the OHC is asked to pay for the damages. When he opens his check book, the girl asks him if he even realises how much the damages would cost. The guy gives her the check and says "Is gaadi ka market price Chauda Laakh (14Lakhs) hai aur maine tumhe Sola Laakh (16 Lakhs) ka check diya hai"

I swear i couldn't stop laughing for the next couple of mins. I mean "C'MON", how dumb do you have to be to claim 14L for a car thats not only out of production, but maynot even fetch you close to 5L today.

Welcome to the ignorant world of TV Shan. I saw this particular episode too.

Why.. a few days back they even had a bike race in that serial where this particular OHC driver was riding a Busa and he had the likes of R1s and Honda RRs for company as competition. As far as the race goes they just showed the bikes going in a group at 40 kph and eventually the Busa winning followed by screaming chicks chanting that guy's name LOL

The bikes were all real though not kits

Whatever snippets of these soaps I have been subjected to, every transaction is in crores (mostly 100s of crores). For example: "I can get those 300 crores lying idle in my account in australia".

So, I am surprised that the guy didn't pay 1 crore for the car. 16 lakh for the car and the rest for the inconvenience.

The best one which i can remember is a lady enters a room with a small bag (you can say a laptop carry bag) and she said here is your 50 corers.. and i started laughing just remembering that andaaz apna apna ka scene corer corer ke 50 check hoge....i think these guyz just dont think anything about real life .. all fake figures and jazzy clothes..pure B.S

All thank to Kekta Kapoor

Last time i heard, Pirelli was deperately trying to obtain the formula for this tyre compound from bollywood. Afterall, they've got a WRC championship to win. LOL

I used to wonder where all the Cielos disappeared ... I guess they all end up being blown up in movie action sequences.
