Have apple music for the fam.
VPN required only while creating account, then as long as your payment is going, no issues with VPN.

Spotify premium hands down! I have used the big names and none of them are as good as Spotify!

Apple music for me. They have great playlists and song collection for every mood. The live radios covering almost all genres is the icing on the cake and thanks to Mukesh Ambani, high speed Internet is no big deal today.

I have a free account with Spotify but how do you pay for premium with Indian cards?

Recently, I have taken a liking to apple music, despite their horrendous android app. The playlists and recommendations are really really good. Gaana is also good but even though they have option to change quality, the recommended playlists, etc., just do not match. Hindi or regional music is something missing in Spotify

I’ve been using Apple Music with the student plan at ₹60/month for almost a year now, and I’m pretty happy with it.
Other than the fact that it doesn’t have a lot of Haryanvi/Bhojpuri (don’t judge me) music in its database, I don’t have any other complaints with it.

Google Play Music and Gaana for me. Primarily because none of the others like Saavn and Wynk have Android Auto support. If Saavn had the support, then probably I would have used Saavn.

Saavn for desi music. Love their curated Playlists. I also have a Apple Music subscription which I don’t like much because of its poor music discovery and UI. I used Spotify premium before but don’t use it anymore because I feel it’s expensive at ₹650 per month.

Amazon Prime is really killing it in India. Not only is it cheap for the enhanced delivery options, but you also get a video-streaming collection that's far superior to Netflix India IMHO.

Now, Prime Music makes its entry in India. Included in your Prime membership

Today tried Prime Music. Its audio quality is far superior than other online services. Also, Hindi song collection is excellent.

I installed the Prime Music app yesterday afternoon and have been streaming both English and Hindi music since. Quite impressed with the collection, the layout of the app, and the sound quality seemed a wee bit better.

I agree.
However, as I was doing it on phone the data consumption while listening to songs was on the higher side. Any clue about this?

In addition to it, its also available on Android Auto interface, so becomes kind of a no brainer for us auto enthusiasts. Earlier, only Gaana and Google Play Music were available for India subscribers, but they didn't provide the value proposition that Prime Music is providing.
