Re: Pray for the soldier's life... Edit - Rest In Peace !

Really sad news !!

From a simple farmer's boy to a Lance Naik in the Indian Army - he had come up the hard way. He leaves behind a 2 yr old daughter and his wife (married 4 years ago).

RIP, brave soldier. We salute you.

RIP the braveheart. Death could not have been more cruel...
Condolences to the family.

We will remember them."

Re: Pray for the soldier's life... Edit - Rest In Peace !

So shattered to hear this.
RIP Hanumanthappa and his nine other brave heart buddies of the Indian Army

He defied death for six days, and coming out alive, raising our hopes, but alas...

Death, be not proud..

His fitness, The Indian Army's training and sheer luck went a long way in his staying alive for six days in unimaginable conditions. But sadly the extreme conditions took its toll.

A silent prayer for those who perished in the avalanche.

Really sad to hear this. RIP Hanumanthappa. But I would also acknowledge and appreciate the tremendous efforts made by Army and many others to help revive him. It was a team effort and our defense forces is really a great team.
