Probably the best in my collection, Pan Am was the first airline I flew in although I was too young to remember.
Beauty!!! Being a Pan Am and -100, it carries historical value and is a great addition to your fleet.
Hope you find a way got all those 9 models together.Good luck.

Thank you for posting. Your MD-80 I just love. Looking forward to the rest of the fleet you just acquired.

Blackburn (later Hawker Siddeley) Buccaneer
Low level fast attack aircraft of the RAF. Scale 1:72. Corgi Aviation Archives series. Diecast metal. arrived today

The Buccaneer was an exceptional lo-lo attack aircraft of the Cold War era. Its small wing and high wing loading softened the buffeting experienced by the crew as they flew low and fast. And its (then new) boundary layer control devices enabled enough lift to be generated to take off from a carrier. Unusual for a fast jet it had a rotating bomb bay in which 4000 lbs (~1800 kgs) of munitions could be carried and still keep the airframe clean. Designed initially as a carrier borne aircraft for the Royal Navy it later also served with the RAF.

Length: 64 feet
Wing Span: 44 feet
Fully loaded weight: 28,000 kgs
Warload: 16,000 lbs (~7250 kgs)
Top speed: 580 knots (1074 kmph) at sea level
Combat Radius: ~ 800 to 950 kms hi-lo-lo-hi with varying warloads
Powerplant: 2 x Rolls Spey turbofans of 5034 kgf
Years in service: 1962 to 1994

Scale Models - Aircraft, Battle Tanks & Ships-buccaneer-2.jpg
Top view. Note the widely separated engines. this usually meant that a hit in one did not result in the other engine getting affected too.

Very informative post, appreciate the time taken to add information to the model pictures. For some reason the Buccaneer always appeared like an uggly duckling to me

I did think about it but the cost of just leasing a small airliner is way out of my league. Perhaps you can help with the financing part

Very Nice. That is a fantastic addition to your collection. Apart from RAF & RN, the South African Air Force also operated Buccaneers in decent numbers.

Fantastic!!! Good to see that they sent you a replacement model for the wing issue. Except the Silk Air B737, all are Hogan?

The A350 and A380 are Skymarks models. Hogan models are slightly better and more detailed than these.

Yeah, In the plastic models category, no other brand matches Hogan's detailing. The only thing that disappointed me on their 737 models was the lack of overwing exit markings on the wings (near emergency exit windows).

Get one custom made perhaps? I don't think anyone stocks such enclosures for models in India.

Would you know anyone who can do that for me? I am more keen on a glass enclosure rather than fiberglass. Thanks.

Not really, but here are a couple of ideas for you to try.

A shop which sells glasses for making house Windows, you can ask them to cut glass pieces in sizes and shape required by you. Ask them first if they are willing to stick these glasses together so as to make an enclosure for you.

Or else you could try your luck with a pet hobby shop that sells rectangular glass fish tanks. With a little bit of work, you can convert a fish tank into an enclosure.

Additionally you can even go a plywood shop and see if they can cut. Plywood and give you something to form the base inside the enclosure on which you will rest your ship. You could get it polished or varnished to make it look elegant.

Looks good. The Blue Dart 757 is quite a find. I some how like the old livery of Air India a lot better than the new one. The new one is rather crowded.

Nice additions, agree with Narayan, the older Air India Livery looked better.

How is the quality of the Risesoon model? doesn't appear as good as a Hogan or Skymark.

Edit: Did a little research on the 757 VT-BDJ. The aircraft is nearly 30 years old now and was sold to DHL and went into storage a month back.
