Re: R.I.P. Behram Dhabhar

Shocked at the news

May his soul rest in peace and god give his family the strength to overcome the grief

He was my true mentor.
Our first meeting took place in 2008 at a BAJA SAEINDIA 2009 workshop.
Totally amazed by his passion for automobiles the KEEDA in me grew to new heights.

Over the next 2 years I learnt a lot of soft and hard skills (the typical words like chamcha (Accelerator), football (overinflated tyre), rubber band (Underinflated tyre), you should have 3 words while working-Focus Decide & Act ) while interacting with him

I was took the words" I (BD) get paid for my hobby. I dont work at all. What i do is hobby. If can convert your hobby into a job you will stay happy forever" to my heart and got me my dream job of an automobile test engineer in the M&M.

More than anything else, he taught me how to learn and be passionate about what you do. The principles he taught me then, I still use them today.

Missing him sorely already. A gap which wont be filled ever...

R.I.P Sir, I know you only through your posts on team-bhp, and most of them were encyclopedia of automotive knowledge. You will be truly missed on this forum, for sure.

Re: R.I.P. Behram Dhabhar

RIP Sir. Terrible news. Although I have never met him and am not a veteran on this forum but one can feel an instant connect while reading his posts.

His posts about the beloved FIAT had one reading with much aplomb and joy.

May the departed soul rest in peace.

The depth of his observations will forever be etched in this forum.

Re: R.I.P. Behram Dhabhar

Dear Cyrus and all members of the Dhabhar family,

My deepest condolences on the sudden demise of Behram Dhabhar. Words are inadequate to describe your loss or console your grief. I knew Behram through his writings on Team BHP and he stood out as a man of great knowledge and maturity and humility. His writings and his wisdom shared generously on Team BHP will live a very long time. May his soul rest in peace and may the good Lord give all of you strength in your hour of bereavement.

Yours prayerfully,
Narayan
