Thank you for sharing and wish you all the very best !!!

Wish you many many years of health and happiness :)

I wish you good health going forward.

Your attitude towards dealing the situation is inspiring & it made the difference I believe.
Family is the pillar we stand & grow on, the support they render is the biggest & an effective medicine in itself.

Best wishes & LIVE STRONG.

Must really appreciate the spirit with which you must have penned the post. Sometimes, it really is necessary to let out the inner feelings.

I wish the same spirit lets you overcome all the hurdles at the earliest.

A couple of points that I wish had come out better :
1) Everyone needs to have an adequate Medical Insurance cover - Fortunately my company provides a substantial cover which helped me. Cancer can lighen your bank balance anywhere between 5 - 20L within a matter of couple of months.

2) We need to have a High Term Insurance - I made a mistake here. I thought my insurance cover was adequate when I looked at it optimistically. I realized my mistake and went to top up the existing cover but I guess it got a bit late ;-) Ensuring family being covered for the next 15-20 yrs financially should be the priority for everyone.

Hats off to your spirit and salutes to your better half as well. Many times, half the battle is lost when people become mentally weak and resign to the problem at hand. That even weakens them physically and puts them at a disadvantage in the battle. Our mind is more stronger than we think and can a strong mind can work wonders and this is just evident from your experience.

I would like to congratulate you on winning this battle against cancer!!!

Have a great healthy life ahead brother

Appreciate your fighting spirit and courage to face the situation , and to write it down.
This post is like a wake up call for many . Thanks for sharing

Sir, Respect. Thanks for sharing your experience. May God bless you.

I pray for your health and recovery.

I'd also suggest alteration of lifestyle with focus on "Pranayam" and meditation and a move to a strictly alkaline diet.

Kudos to you in taking the difficulties head on with a practical approach. Just reading the post gave me goosebumps.

Stay healthy and have lots of healthy years ahead :)

First of all, I was very glad to read NED towards the end of the story & I wish you good health for the rest of your life.

Second, the manner in which you dealt with it is hugely inspiring not only to people who're dealing with Cancer, but also to us. A huge thanks for that!

And lastly, the lessons that you've shared are so under-rated and yet so significant in tough times that makes one sit back & ponder what actually means to him in life and what efforts is he putting in to value them. Life is a gift and none should take it for granted.

Thanks again & wish you good health!

I'm not sure if I would have the composure to write such a vivid life experience. Lately I have been out of my mind with the day to day pressures and I've not been me. This is like a smack to my head, I really wish you a wonderful life ahead tough guy! Take care and thanks.

Dear Kishor,

This was a truly Inspiring post! filled with nuggets of information, which we all take for granted and realize only late!

With your indomitable spirit, positive attitude and by the grace of God you will surely overcome this hurdle in your life.

Wish you a speedy recovery and good health.

Thank you for posting. Really appreciate it!
Your journey and more importantly perspective are motivating.

Kudos to getting through it and taking the effort to put it up here.

There is a lot more to learn on TBhp than about cars and bikes :)

May be a bit cliched, but reading your experience reminded of these 2 lines from the movie "Shawshank Redemption": "Get busy living or get busy dying" and "Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies".

Your post really helped restore my sense of proportion and reminded me what is really important in my life. Thank you for that.

Wish you a life filled with good health & joy!

Cheers,
Vikram

Words of wisdom! Thanks for sharing your story. It will help a lot of us in slumbers to get up and be thankful for each day we live in this world. Salute to your will power and more importantly to your family and friends.
