Ripping vids to the Hd

A friend needs to download a couple of vids from youtube.com for a college presentation. Is there any possible way to do that?
Need this by tonight, or early early tommorow morning.
All you techie guys, HELP!!

Any other vids anyone has of these cola or cadbury ads post pesticide reports period, then please upload the same on rapidshare.com and leave me a download link.

If he is using FireFox, he can use VIDEODOWNLOADER which is a plug in for FF...

Search the Mozilla website for it...... I use videodownloader a lot...download most of the videos I view on youtube, metacafe, googlevideo, etc...

can you tell me in which format does he need them in (avi, mpeg, rm)
or does he want it as it is?

this is the extension, works like a charm.
The downloaded video plays fine in players like vlc.
You can convert to mpeg4 etc., using super video converter or ffmpeg.
