Here are the places we generally eat at when we come to Pune
ABC Farm - Swiss cheese Garden. Amazing Fondue. The chicken pasta is also meant to be amazing.
La Pizzeria - Amazing italian food.

Guys, whoever is looking for good sea-food in Pune - I think you must try Hotel Konkan Express at Kothrud, just before Dahanukar circle, on the left. The food is really good there.

For those who like authentic Kerala-style food (Parthas, appams, idiappams, puttu, brown rice, Kerala-style thali and curries, and for non-veg buffs -- chicken/fish/mutton and sea-food) try a small restaurant called Southern Spice on NIBM road, very close to the entrance of NIBM.

Try out Polka Dots. I love it. Other family restaurants are Shivasagar, Sarja. On Baner side, there are Rajwada, Green Park, Sadanand.

Both these places have shut shop.

Try buffet lunch at Nawabs next to Blue Nile. Rs 300/- for unlimited beer / vodka / soft drinks + a nice non-veg meal. And the ambience is 10/10.

@ Evo6 : ku kuch koo is abt to shut shop in coming days. They plan to start a take away joint at that place.

Guys, few places that i recommend :

1. Durga biryani house for chicken and mutton dishes
2. Srushti for sea food @ reasonable rates. Both the places are located in city - near Perugate police station off tilak road.

3. Cold coffee/ Cold chocolate : Durga near MIT college ( although the place is very crowded, taste just beats other joints )

4. Radhika - opposite Meridian plaza on senapati bapat road ( close to the chowpaty ) --- this place serves awesome Bengali food along with authentic bengali sweets.

theres another branch of the same place named Radhika 2 or R 2 exactly opposite the new Pyramids store in ICC ( senapati bapat rd )

5. Vaishali on FC road for south indian food

PS:
ABC farms and Hite bar rock for sure...

Some more unmentioned places:

1) Kapila Kathi kebab, opposite Ruby Hall : Best kathi Kebabs I have ever eaten. Olympia on East street comes close second.
2) The Chinese Room on Karve Road: Good reasonably priced chinese food.
3) Flags near Inox: Best continental food, be it Thai, Mexican, Italian anything. They have a HUGE menu which alone could take upto an hour if you decide to go through carefully.
4) Restaurants on top of Sinhgad: Best Pithale Bhakri and bhajiya.
5) Yana Sizzlers and Wok: FC Road
6) Koyla: Hyderabadi food.

Can someone give me location of Prems? I havent tried it yet. Also what is its speciality?

Also it is rumoured that, the vada-pav vala in Camp (comes in Lancer), has a monthly income running into several lakhs. Also rumour is that he pays a bribe of Rs.2500 Per day to some officials in that area to keep his stall running on the foot-path.

Pithale Bhakri and bhajiya on top of Sinhaga.... Dude you made memories flood back.

Veg thalis i know of for everyday food:
1. Janaseva : Deccan (1st floor, next to the small flyover going toward FC road)
2. Lunch home on Prabhat road mid-point
3. Lunch home off Tilak road next to Tilak mandir

Looking for additions to this Veg thali list.
