Cheap project from his early days with massive impact.
Watched it last night, and it was very good. Thanks for the reco.

Camera work was too good and a big kudos to spielberg for making a character out of a contraption (monstrous truck).

A very different and an interesting experience.

Thanks.
Tifosi.

3.Cida de Deus (City Of God)-Brazilian movie
4.Full Metal Jacket ....
5.Memento
6.Kongekabale (King's Game)-Danish movie.Political Thriller at its best.

Nice to see so many people with eclectic taste in movies! Thanks for all the recos..

My additions.. a few foreign films..
Krzysztof Kieslowski - The Three Colours Trilogy Blue, White and Red
Werner Herzog - Aguirre, der Zorn Gottes (Aguirre, the Wrath of God)
Pedro Almodovar - Hable Con Ella (Talk to Her)
Wong Kar Wai - Chungking Express
Denys Arcand - The Barbarian Invasions

Also second the V For Vendetta recommendation.. extremely well made movie.
