I am starting this thread to showcase the hand made car, bike and other models created by my friend Sreejith using junk. Sreejith has been working in the IT industry in Bangalore for 16 years.

He had a passion to create miniature models of cars, bikes buildings etc. from junk since his school days. His miniature models are created using stuff that we generally throw away. His work was appreciated by Malayalam national daily “Mathrubhumi”. For those who can read Malayalam, here is the news article that came in Mathrubhumi.



Here are the pictures and videos of some of his creations. As and when he creates new models, I will keep adding in this thread.

Very impressive. Must require oodles of patience and creativity. To think he has used everything from Tiger Balm caps, to ball pens to umbrella spokes, to a ladies hand bag and several other in between. Thank you for sharing.

I also have the passion of creating car models using paper since my school days. After a long gap, made a contessa classic using waste paper, chocolate cover, magazine pages, card board etc. Here are the pics.

I recently handbuilt a 2009 model Kerala RTC Super Express RAK 239 out of foamboard. This was my first try building something like this after seeing such pics on Facebook.
