Been getting WhatsApp forwards on how the Japanese team cleaned their dressing room after they lost their match against Belgium and left a thank you note in Russian. Crazy folks these Japs are.

I was aghast to see them get through. Colombia, their temper notwithstanding deserved to progress over England. Once again, England and Kane seem to play for penalties to score.

Hope the Swedes knock them out.

Didn't see the second half, but in the first I thought England was the one making all the chances. IIRC, Columbia had just one shot at the keeper and couldn't even get inside the box much. Did things change around thereafter?

Nothing England have done so far that would seem convincing against a good side in open play. Good for them all of those sides are in the other half of the draw. Could they win this World Cup of attrition?

It was not just their team, even their fans cleaned-up their stand before leaving the stadium. Unbelievable! The world has a lot to learn from Japan.

Not sure if Harry10 will go against Harry Kane but nevertheless we can safely assume that England will not win the World Cup '18.

Seems no one likes England. All the people I know were supporting Colombia to win. England is playing Sweden in QF and I don't think they will be much of a challenge.
Brazil vs Belgium is what I am waiting for eagerly.

With under 10 minutes plus additional time left in the first quarter final between France and Uruguay, it does seem like the French will be through to the semi finals with their 2 goals.

France's midfield is clicking at the right time. Solid display from them. France surely must now be the favourites along with Belgium and Brazil in that order.
