Re: Steer By WiFi - Drive Cars By Mobile phones!!

@ speedmiester,

Sir we have done it on a Real car too, its a Full blown Dune Buggy.
We are demonstrating the toy cars in the malls due to logistics & permit issues

But the Dune buggy driving unmanned was sheer fun, I will check to see if I can share the Videos at this point in time. considering we have developed all the hardware / software / Mechanical in house in 3 weeks flat, I think its a very good proof of concept & demo.

Hoping for an Automobile Giant to fund further testing and enable us to prune and refine the technology further.

You can see the video's of dune buggy in at the mall on plasma TV.

Cheers
Sunil

I am not sure about Delhi since no tracks are there, Mumbai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Chennai have tracks. More coming up in HYD. We have sevaral race meetings a year. Search for IRCRA on facebook for the most updated scene on India RC.

Yes, FG is in India. Google JRH hobby, Chennai. They are distributors. What is the nature of your use? For extreme bashing, I will stick with HPI Baja. FG is good for racing since most models are 4WD.

i am into bashing too. infact i had called you before purhasing my savage.

and from what ive seen. i baja cant really jump and bash like MTs. i guess the FG would do good as a basher.. wht say?

cheers.

Yes, The baja needs really steep inclines to jump. Its quite heavy at about 12kgs. But they can still bash well. The 5T is quite a nice basher. For FGs, I would stick to the track unless the car is well upgraded. The FG with the 4WD is at home on the track.

You can also consider the MCDs. But they are not in India and spares support is less worldwide and is more expensive due the design and quality.

yup. i got the savage from Rahul. andi was confused between the savage and pulse (which is amazing in its own way).

i also was considering Brushless power too. but finally have set my eyes on either the Baja or the FG. gassers are lesser maintainence and have longer life.

but isnt the FG made of great components? wouldnt it be good at bashing? (iam talking of the Hummer MT)

Re: The Radio / Remote Control Cars Thread. (RC)

Now for Gasoline, dont look beyond the latest LOSI fiveT, a 1/5 based on the 1/8 8T. Its 4WD with 3 diffs and literally built like a 1/8. Going by just the specs and features, the FG and HPI is no match for the fiveT. Will have to wait for reviews to know more. Price is steep at 1.6K. Check it out.

Is there a thread for R/C Helicopters? Just recently bought one and wanted to know more. Tried to search but couldn't find.

Re: The Radio / Remote Control Cars Thread. (RC)

I was hoping there was one too.. but not found here!

I just bought a cheap one to bang around and get a hang of it before I invest some serious money into it. Its a small indoor one and gives me a short flying time of 10-15 minutes.

@abhayshanu: Which one did you buy?

Re: The Radio / Remote Control Cars Thread. (RC)

It's a very basic 3.5ch co-axial gyro. It's pretty decent and I have mastered taking it up to
5 stories and bringing it down safely. Now searching for a 6 ch and wanted help in that.
