Well, the celebrations just dont seem to stop. Congratulations to everyone!

Last evening, I was speaking amongst the moderator team, about how it was during the early days.....with only 20 regular posting members, we even knew each other's last names!

10000 members::jan 2007
next 10000 members :feb 2008
next 5000 members: july 2008.

now if the members keep on increasing at the same speed,the next 5000 members would join us in 2008 only.
seems like 2008 is lucky for T -BHP

Wouldn't it be easy to find how many bhpians have more than 50/100 posts. We could then assume that they are the more active members. :-) Though I think there are a lot who only read but don't post.

I am looking at numbers since last 3 months.
I wonder, it is increasing at the speed of new mobile subscribers.
It is glad to know that so many car lovers are joining this forum.
But i hope, as GTO said, quality will remain intact in future also.

That we do not have any regular interaction on the forum from the majoriy of the new members takes away some of the sheen from the numbers. Otherwise, to look at the positive, it shows how much the site has grown in terms of brand value, and acceptance.

Seems that this is one of the best things that is going right for TBHP. The quality across has been really good, be in terms of the discussions, topics and yes even the language (a really big factor).
