JW MARRIOTT had closed their gates to any cars entering the compound. So basically there were PArty go'ers standing(SINCE 9pm) at the gate of JW WAITING TO GO INSIDE. Iam sure this was on through out the night and specially after 1am after they finished partying.

They in all probabilities must have been walking to the pay n park near ramada and palm grove. That was the closest parking spot to the JW that night.

These CROWDS of ^%*& MEN were standing since 9PM (the time i left from JUHU) and staring at the women standing outside JW.

ITs REALLY SHOCKING to know no police arrived for 15MINS. Because that whole ROAD was FULL FULL FULL of cops. These cops were there on the road to see nothing went wrong. There must have been CLOSE TO A 150 COPS onn that road at that time. REALLY SHOCKING .

So the CoP says this kind of thing happens always.
The police take 38 hours to file an FIR.
Another top cop says - why Santacruz police station, incident happened under Juhu police station jurisdiction.

I am speechless.

Has anyone seen the pics ? Almost everyone has right ? I guess the police hasn't.

And that pic is so shameful - with a smirk on the man's face (white shirt). And with these clear photographs - police still do not want to go into action ?

Shame on Mumbai and now Shame on Mumbai Cops.

Does this mean, women have no rights at all to celebrate or be with their friends and family out at an odd hour like 1.45am..... why? who said so? why should women be the sufferers? why don't we make rules for everyone to follow. Women don't rape and gang rape men, then why do men have the right to do this to women? what are the cops & all of us doing? someone from us was also there, we can get together are stop such a shameful act to happen and ensure safety. Cant we come forward and help someone in need, tomorrow we might be in some need too? this is shameful and a ridiculous act.

action must and must be taken, to ensure NO such incidents in the future.

lets all come forward and work towards achieving this for our people.

btw... This is not just only to Women. This thing happen to men too. may be the harassment will differ from above to looting, stabbing etc. So, what we do? Are we not careful in selecting the places & time when we want to go out?

Prostitution may or may not be legal, but surely it is freely available in just about every city in the world outside the totalitarian countries (and doubtless, even there for people who know where to go). I'm sure these Mumbai guys know where.

I have no moral objection to prostitution itself, entered into with free will, but very often it isn't --- it is forced upon girls, even by their parents.

Absolutely agree with comments about police. This is against civilisation itself.

While it took the Mumbai cops 2 days to file a case, the case in Kochi was cracked in 3 hours flat. I hope this efficiency wasn't shown because the victims were foreigners (i.e.) read that as fair skin.

We should forget about the safety of our women because the Mumbai comissioner says on national television that such small things happen all the time and could happen anywhere so the media should stop blowing things out of proportion. If I was a molester, I would be delighted to be living in Mumbai.
