I am quite surprised no one mentioned Duck Tales and Talespin!

Die hard cartoon fan with long list of favourites:
Tom and Jerry - I doubt if there is any person on this planet who didnt like it!
Duck Tales - Ah the adventures and adventures!
Talespin - Balooooo
Johnny Quest - Surprised again no mention of it
Swat Kats - Legend. More funny when it was dubbed in hindi. Bade Myau Chhote Myau, Maha Billa Sheher :uncontrol
Powerzone cartoons - Centurions, Sky Commanders
Yaba Daba Du - Flintstones
Jetsons - Still feel we should have flying cars!
Ninja Turtles - Can still remember how I used to come running from school to catch the 4PM show on then Star TV!
Aladdin - Again hindi version rocked. The tone of Iago :uncontrol

Whoever said, said it! 90s kids saw the real cartoon!

My favourite ... He-Man!

I don't think any human being exists who doesn't enjoy Tom & Jerry :).

Quintessential favourite from childhood is Tom & Jerry, no doubt ! Have a collection of those & can binge-watch to the extent that can drive the better half nuts. And definitely the Disney classics incl. Mickey, Goofy and Loony Tunes esp. the Road Runner show :) Grew up in the generation who have watched He-Man, Giant Robot, Jungle Book etc. in "Door Darshan" ! Oh, those were the days.

Now-a-days my kids watch so many new ones, of which I can tolerate only "Shawn the Sheep" and "Doraemon" !stupid: Rest are mere torture as far as I'm concerned ! Hmmm, as a fellow BHPian remarked, middle age shows!

Some of the ones I used to watch (and still watch), from my childhood, teens and now now into my adulthood:

1. Speed Racer
2. G.I Joe
3. The Centurions (I still love their 'Power Extreme' sequence!)
4. Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics and other H-B productions
5. Atom Ant
6. Fantastic 4
7. Spiderman and Friends
8. Justice League
9. Xmen Evolution
10. Swat Kats
11. Teen titans and TT GO! (Yeah I like it, don't lynch me!) and now Young Justice
12. All of DC animated movies
13. Power Rangers (yeah!)
14. Johnny Quest
15. Talespin
16. Dexters Lab
17. Codename Kids Next Door
18. Courage the cowardly dog
19. Transformers (the one with the minicons)
20. Jackie Chan Adventures

And so many more. Whoa! Nostalgia overload!

My brother was not so lucky though. By the time he started watching Cartoon Network, it had already been infiltrated by crap like Bob the Builder, Thomas (that creepy train thingy), and Oswald. Then came stuff like Chota Bheem and even he was like screw this.

One for the brothers..

AH! Thanks for that. This is the one i had mentioned in my previous post. The one with the amazing opening theme :D

Anyone watched Garfield and friends, Archie's weird mysteries

Has anyone watched the web series called Oddbods? As good as our good old cartoon series like T&J, and very good Quality of animation as well.

I was not able to find an anime related thread. Hence posting this here. One Punch man returns for Season 2 after years of keeping us waiting. The first episode which aired yesterday seems to be far away in quality compared to the pilot episode which got me hooked years back. Lets see if the new studio has done something in the forthcoming episodes to keep us glued.

Woah! Full on nostalgia!

My favourites in order of preference:
1. Swatkats
2. Jonny Quest (awesome title track)
3. Centurions
4. Bleach (recent)
5. Full Metal Alchemist
6. Ninja Robots
7. Captain Planet

and the list goes on..

Recently saw two series in Netflix:
1. Carmen Sandiego
2. Voltron

Both of them are a must watch for animation lovers.

Tom&Jerry, DuckTales, SwatKats. This should make the top3. However, here is some interesting video on the channel called CARTOON NETWORK that we loved.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWgcizAgxOs

In my childhood, I used to love
1) Talespin
2) Johnny Quest
3) Tom & Jerry
4) Dragon Ball Z
5) Captain Planet
6) Jackie Chan Adventures.

More recently I enjoyed the below ones:
1) Avatar - The Last Airbender (really funny and was brought to an ending in a meaningful way)
2) Full Metal Alchemist (Not the Brotherhood version)
3) Death Note (am surprised no one mentioned this one)
4) Bleach (some episodes as it is mostly filler induced)
5) Justice League
6) Attack on Titan (created enough mystery but did not see Season 2)

One punch man started is basically a satire on the entire superhero genre cliches. The Manga is known to be super popular and the anime also was beloved. 20 odd minutes and 12 episodes of the first season can be breezed through. It is extremely fun to watch thanks to Top Quality Animation and amazing soundtrack too.

Do not go in expecting serious stuff like Death note and Attack on Titan. This is light hearted fun.

Anyone watching the new season of Attack on Titan? Some of the fights are just amazing.

Avid follower here. Done till the 6th episode of Season 3.2. Episode 5 sure did pack a lot of punch. I think the original season 3 had far more tactical warfare.
