Being in IT industry, one way or other ensures most of the time you have access to Internet and a computer(or mobile), unless you are sleeping "Browsing" develops as a unaware habit.
Just to take time off working screen and to context switch during office hours, I have few websites which I often glance through.
- Team-Bhp
- Quora
- NDTV
- amazon
Apart from this, generally I have look around for content over Internet which enhances skills and exposure.
Please share your choices. We never know what new could we "Browse"
1.Team-BHP (this stress busting pill keeps me sane)
2. Entrepreneur magazine
3. YouTube (car reviews, motivational, exam study material, new music production skills)
Autosport forums
Tbhp
Wikipedia
YouTube.
I am a automotive buff, aviation geek and a credit card freak. Am also a foodie but the Zomato update which removed the feed of all the other Users posting their reviews made me addiction free.
Here is my list:
1) Tbhp
2) livefromalounge (Airline blogspot)
3) Cardexpert (credit card blogspot)
4) autopunditz
5) twitter
The first window to be opened as soon as I step into office is - TeamBhp.
Well to put in in order:
1. Team-BHP
2. BBC world news
4chan
Reddit
stackoverflow
I have a few:
- Team BHP
- Gear Patrol
- BBC Sport
Gear Patrol is not only about cars, it is about gear in general - cellphones, watches, tools, Hi Fi Audio, and other cool stuff that I find myself lusting over. An excellent place to kill time for those that enjoy gadgets and "things".
BBC Sport is mostly for F1 and Football - Premier League, to be precise.
I also look at Economic Times, and Google News when I'm done with all the other portals for the day.
