An India-Pak final in the world cup ? Can you tell us when this was ? The entire cricket world would go crazy if there were to be an India-Pak final in the world cup!

For the record, India has never lost a match to Pak in the world cups so far.

Read it carefully. I did not mention World Cup. Cannot remember its a champions trophy or some tri series or Asia Cup. We had defeated Bangladesh in semis and lost to pakistan in finals, lethal fierce and accurate bowling. Bro read properly before jumping. England wickets are not chinnaswamy where as Geoff Boycott would say my Grandmother could hit a six.

Agreed. They can cause an upset or two, although they played well against England at home. Gayle during IPL didn't field much in half the games & seeing Russell go about in the field i have my doubts if he'll last the entire tournament, seems as if his body is filled with niggles!

Just look at the scores from the ongoing England - Pakistan series. If this continues, expect a couple of 400s.

Absolute flat tracks capable of running few F1 cars coupled with flat track bullies and we have some crazy scores being scored.
Eng scored some 370 odd with 5 overs to spare!

At this rate they might sneak away with the cup.

Typo: I meant to say expect a couple of 400s being chased down.

Not that easy. This is a stat I read on twitter today (Source - @cricRohit)

Quote:
Most times 350+ ODI totals conceded since April 2015

10- ENG
7- PAK & SL
4- Aus, Ind, NZ & WI
2- Ban & SA
So, their bowling is negating the batting.

An astrologer quoted some time back that India would not win this World Cup because of Virat Kohli's Birth Year.

Chalo good... I hope we perform well... Our number 4 is iffy...
Pant would have been better than DK but now hoping DK performs exceptionally well, 'cos no other choice.

Some online sites are speculating that he may be ruled out. I don't know how authentic their sources of information are.

Rayudu could have made it, but 'cos of his lackluster performance in IPL2019 and a couple of series before that & also 'cos of his loud mouth, Pant might get a call.

England seems to be a strong contender, but my favourites are India and we have a strong team with a high probability of winning for the third time.

Re: ICC Cricket World Cup, 2019

What's going on in the Ind/Nz warm up match? Is this a preview of things to come? Tired IPL bodies throwing away their wickets? The ball might be swinging around, but is this the kind of firepower we have in our bags? This is meek surrender.
