Just posting a short link here: Useful OUTDOOR activities that don't involve malls. I found this link pretty useful. It is comprehensive and while we do complain that our country doesn't have enough avenues, there are quite a few places worth visiting around. One would be surprised with the cleanliness and information available at some places (example NSC)

Then there are workshops by many similar minded individuals where the child is exposed to a variety of activities - Beyond Academics is one such that comes to mind. They are spread throughout the city.

I didn't put them in any special program. But to privilege their ideas, asked them to accompany in fixing the cycles, adjusting the chain in two-wheelers, watering plants, interior cleaning of car, keeping up the kitchen garden, play with garden lizards, capturing Macros etc.

The best they liked is "Day with snakes" Program in Chennai guindy Snake Park, To understand the importance of snakes, identifying venomous and non-venomous :thumbs up

Thats about my 10year old twin boys :)

So my niece and nephew are coming to town, and I have been trying to figure this out for the life of me as well.

Some options for the older kids:
1) A day out to Della Lonavala: https://www.dellaadventure.com/

2) Imagica:https://www.adlabsimagica.com/

3) Smaash has a few activities as well - laser tag, bowling, arcade games, etc. while you go for a few laps in their go-karting track: https://smaaash.in/

4) Malls such as Phoenix market city Kurla have a few options as well last I checked but I've never been there.

In addition, there are some people organizing short camps & activities as well. Someone sent a whatsapp about pet-parenting and on animals in general (extinct animals, endangered, conservation, etc.); similarly there are forest trails & nature walks; and also 4-5 day long summer camps which will keep them busy for 2-3 hours a day.

Drop a PM if you would like more details on these as I have gotten them as whatsapp forwards on a few groups, but haven't tested it out personally.

Thanks to Vishal Karda for sending this in. Heartfelt gratitude for sharing it with other enthusiasts via this Team-BHP page!

I am an avid reader of Team-BHP.

I found something interesting on the internet, so I thought of sharing it with the community.

My kid is 3 years old and loves cars.

So, I was looking for some activities related to cars during the lockdown.

What I came across is a colouring book from Mercedes.

Its available at this webpage.

Direct link to download here.

Hope you'll find this useful.
