This is just awful news. I can't believe this.

Just like BD sir's, and Sam's posts, I used to search for his posts and read through them. The good ones are going, one by one!

Terrible. His knowledge and love for cars shined through his posts. The forum is going to miss him.

I cannot believe what I have just read is true. I am deeply saddened to hear that he is no more. This is shocking.

I have met him several times during many short notice mini meets till 2009. I remember him most and his famous Safari 4x4 Dicor from the TeamBHP Kuttikanam Drive during the monsoons.

May your soul rest in peace Santhosh.

A great loss to his family and to our Team-BHP community. May his soul Rest In Peace and the God give strength to his family. Let us all pray for their well being. Remember 'When the Mortality ends, the Immortality begins". A gentle soul will be remembered forever.

My deepest condolences to the family and his children. Sudden and unexpected. May his soul rest in peace. He was clearly a very intelligent person. On some aircraft related matters his questions would throw me off guard. I once wrote back to him appreciatively that his questions seemed he was doing a PhD in aviation. God bless you Steeroid.

I had planned to meet with Steeroid when I visited my parents in Dubai in 2007, but he got held up with work and I had other commitments the rest of my time there, and couldn't meet up. As one of the longest standing members of the forum, interactions with him were distributed across various threads.

I was shocked when I got to know the news of his demise, and I cannot even imagine the sorrow the family would be going through. :(

RIP Steer.

Deeply saddening news. Like many here, I would look for his posts. His posts were extremely well composed and his intelligence and knowledge made them shine. In fact, going through his posts almost made sure that I would learn something. Though I never had the opportunity to interact with him, but there was a certain respect for him. Very disturbing news indeed.

May his soul rest in peace. Deepest condolences to his loved ones.

@GTO, can we have a special badge of honor or some other gesture for the teambhp handles of our late friends?
Rest In Peace Sir. May GOD give his soul all the peace and the family the strength to cope up with the loss.

Before I was a part of this community I have read his blogs a lot and it was always very informative.

This would be a great idea to provide badge for people whom we have lost but whose presence enriched all of us and the community.

I met Steeroid several times. Once at Sam Kapasi's place, once when I was visiting Dubai, etc. And I got to know several of his friends in the process (many not on TBHP).

One thing everyone agreed on was that Steeroid was generous to a fault. If he could help you he would. You are known by the opinion your friends have of you and by that yardstick Steeroid was a "good bloke".

When I got the news yesterday I was in shock. His son helped my son quite a bit (I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree). I really don't know what to make of it.

God Bless you Steeroid. May God give your family the strength to carry on.
