“Gone is the face we loved so dear. Silent is the voice we loved to hear. Too far away for sight or speech. But not too far for thought to reach.”

Words cannot express my sadness. May the comfort of God help his family through this difficult time.

REST IN PEACE BUDDY.

A testament to the deep sense of community on this forum, that one feels a profound sense of sadness at losing a fellow enthusiast one sometimes only knew by an online pseudonym.

Condolences to all near and dear ones.

Got to know him well after moving here to Dubai. Was my navigator and advisor in my very first off road dune drive and few more after that.

We have been in touch regularly over the years and this year end was supposed to be the first time we both would have participated in couple of drives together after a very long time.

The news yesterday is yet to sink in.

Condolences and prayers to the family.

Rest well, dear Santhosh. You will be missed.

Shocking to say the least. I met in him circa 2007-08 at a race weekend in Coimbatore and we became friends in FB and over PM have had long chats when he wanted to get his son into serious cycling.

He was one of my favorite BHPian . Always used to admire his language and wit and intelligence. I still vividly remember one post which I Lol'ed for a long time.

Sad.

I just couldn't believe it when i heard the news, and instantly my mind went to an incredible Delhi meet where there were three folks who were the absolute life of the party, SamKapasi,gd1418 and Steeroid. Opened the thread and there they were, all in one photo. Cant keep my eyes dry.

https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/team-...an-08-a-2.html ((Inter)National Auto Expo "Excess and Surplus" Meet Report - Jan ' 08)

The last post I had on this thread was quoting Steeroid, on the loss of GD and Sam and now I read this news. Dont know how to react.
You will be missed deeply, Steeroid.

Deepest condolences to Steeroid. And I pray god to support his family in this times of gloom and give them the necessary courage and closure that they so deserve.

I cant claim to know him. But going through his posts and reading about what others have to say about him, I can only imagine how much he was revered here and how it would've been to have actually met him.

Sad loss to our community.
