Re: Your New Year 2020 automotive resolutions?

I did not have a new year resolution, let alone an automotive one.. below are some vaguely formed ideas..

1. Buy a 2 wheeler. It's been almost 7yrs since I rode one seriously.. need to get that phase back in my life. Will be tough given family commitments, but you never know.

2. Happy with my Nexon till now not much to add there., but will add some kit.. dashcam, front bumper replacement and who knows a sun roof also ..may be.

I aim to build a proper workshop for repairing my cars and perhaps even spin a business venture in order to recover atleast a part of the costs.

Wow, it’s legal to let fireworks loose on public streets there? And a covered garage would be the best bet

Re: Your New Year 2020 automotive resolutions?

With the current lockdowns in Chennai my resolution has changed to at least start the car once in five days to keep the battery and other components in shape.

Re: Your New Year 2020 automotive resolutions?

I'm actually contemplating selling my main car and biding away the pandemic with my beater car. Where am I going to travel anyway? To work? On roadtrips? I think the rest of 2020 is a washout for roadtrips.

Why should I then have an EMI outgo on an unused depreciating asset? Anyway, this is only a thought that I have...
