I am from Kolkata and had been waiting for this for so long, unfortunately next week I am going for a long term foreign assignment. However I will see if someone from Kolkata can collect a bunch and deliver to my Dad (God knows how he is going to fix those on the cars, but I would like to have them on the side skirting ends for the Ikon and on the Taillight wings side of the Fiat)

Not to sound negative here, but isn't it not legal to put anything else on the number plate other than the registration number ??? this would look good on the rear bumper or glass, dont you think ?

at present i need atleast 12 stickers (2 for each of the six members at kolkata)

I dont know about that, but dealers here regularly put their names on the plate in that fashion.

yep, thats a practice all over, but its not legal. Cops mostly dont give a damn though, it really depends on how good/bad a day the cop has had.

You're right esteem_lover - we could get into trouble for stickers on the plates. The windscreen is a better place.

Cops in Chennai are very strict about number plates, you will find the least number of fancy number plates here.
