In a populous country like India real estate is a good/safe bet if you've picked it up at the right price. Flats for 50 big ones are tough to come by in Bangalore, and investing anything over that amount needs a good rethink as the rents just don't justify it. Besides, maintenance rates are sky-high in the new 'Maximum City'.
