Default RIP Team-BHPian Suresh_gs (aka Toll-Free Suresh)

Friends,

Wanted to inform our team-bhp community about sad demise of one of our team bhpian "suresh_gs", who is popularly known by his singature "Toll Free Suresh".

Recently his wife spoke to me and informed about the shocking news. He passed away on February 6th. It all happened pretty quick. It seems he had fever after Sankaranthi and his blood test showed very high WBCs which is abnormal. After Jan 20th his blood was tested again and diagnosed with blood cancer :( He was admitted to Manipal Hospital in Bangalore and was undergoing chemo. He seemed to have responded well till Jan 31st, but his condition deteriorated in first week of february and ultimately passed way on Feb 6th.

The last i spoke to him was after Christmas holidays in early January after his vacation to Kerala.

Suresh is well known in spiritual group of team bhpians as he constantly updated about his temple visits and trips. Its indeed a shocking news for those who know him, because he is in his early 40s. He is survived with his wife and two little kids both are less than 10 years old, IIRC.

RIP Suresh!

Request to moderators : Can you please to inactivate his account. Thank you.

-Ravi

Rest in peace, Suresh.

Reminds me of an ex-colleague of mine from my previous organisation. I met him first as a trainer when I had joined the organisation. After that, I used to see him every now and then in the campus. Some time later, we received a mail from the HR informing about his sudden passing. He was also diagnosed with blood cancer and passed away within a short time after the diagnosis. I remember how shocked I was reading that mail and I cannot imagine what Suresh's family must be going through. I hope the family finds strength to cope with such a sudden loss.

Feeling really sad today to read this news. May his soul rest in peace.
We had a eerie similarity. Even he is 74 born and he is just 6 days older to me. He was interested in Maths and me too. Though I never spoke to him in person, he did gave me one useful suggestion on how to spread my Maths skills to the benefit of current generation kids.
