Yep. That is phase-2 DIY. I was waiting for some plumbing hardware and tap adapter to do a wet wash. Also, put pigeon scare spikes on ODUs. Now ecommerce delivery has started so, I have ordered these items. Will do it soon and share.

EDIT: I think you meant the internal unit evaporator fins? Yes I used soft brush to dust them. Only issue is these fins are delicate and might bend so have to be careful.

Luckily the rules have eased up a bit and we were allowed to visit our granddaughter a few days after she was born.
Congratulations on becoming a grand father now

Yes I meant those IDU fins. You are right, we have to be extra careful with those as they are very delicate. Even while removing the plastic frames, I have to be careful so as to not to bend parts of those by accident.

Continued my DIY tinkering with three little projects:

1. Routing of dashcam cable in Brio through headliner and passenger A pillar. Cable is concealed now. Pleased with the out come. Looks neat. Check the pictures.

3. Installed cabin air filter in Brio.
I used Zip Air Filter for City / Jazz. Cost me about 200/- on Amazon and fits nicely. Cutting the plastic behind the glove box took about 20 minutes. Check the pictures.

Honda Brio items were in todo list for a log time. Lockdown and work from home presented the opportunity and the nudge to DIY.

Cheers,

Re: How are you spending time in the lockdown?

After sorting up my magazine collection, another project I took up was the MI truck builder Kit. I have detailed it out with pictures below. I was initially on the lookout for detailed car building kits made by the likes of Tamiya. They come complete with paints and even very detailed interiors I am told.

A few were available on Amazon, but I was doubtful of delivery so went to my friendly neighbourhood MI store and brought the truck building kit. It costs around 1500 bucks and the box said it is for 6+ years . I thought it would be very easy one to make, but its not that easy one to put together and certainly not for a young child.

The central table in the drawing room was requisitioned for the truck build up and my daughter set about excitedly unwrapping the box

It comes complete with around 500 + plastic parts in five packs with the tyres included separately. My younger daughter was interested initially when she saw the picture of the monster truck, but was a bit disappointed when the box was opened and saw the contents.

The contents were neatly stacked up into a few small plastic vessels for ease and colour coordinated so that everything was easily accessible

Re: How are you spending time in the lockdown?

The booklet that comes with the kit is very detailed. Each step is detailed and one needs to put the pieces ready together. The print quality is not that clear, and one has to strain and find out the right pieces. There are similarly coloured connecting screws which can be confusing at times.

These are pretty good except that they miss small items sometimes. Both my Buggy and Truck were missing connectors, and I had to make do with toothpicks and play doughs.
