Re: Automotive Vector Art & Illustrations

Such lovely work! KUDOS to Akshay. You really are very talented. Such attention to detail. Liked all the work. Just loved Uno, Esteem, Gypsy.

The Cyberpunk Alto is super. Would be happy to see some more modified designs like the Alto. Thank you sachin_cs for taking out time to post a thread like this.

Re: Automotive Vector Art & Illustrations

Hi, I recently discovered Akshay's Instagram page and immediately followed it. His works inspired me to try to create something like what he did. I started learning the basics of Photoshop online. But sometimes you gotta run before you can walk (I can't believe I just quoted a line from Ironman ). So even before I finished the 1st tutorial, I started experimenting in photoshop . The result was not as good as what Akshay created, but I hope its good for a first try.

P.S: Being a MK5 Jetta Owner, I thought starting with a MK5 Jetta GLI will be ein gute Idee.

Re: Automotive Vector Art & Illustrations

These are truly brilliant artworks. Vector art is not a very easy thing to do and these have been executed perfectly.

I'm also attaching an artwork of mine that I did in this quarantine period. This is my attempt at making a digital painting.

Being completely new to Photoshop, if this was your first try, I must say that you have an unbelievable potential for this. And I am an experienced digital artist so you can take my word for it.
My first vector art was back in 2012 and it was absolutely hideous try at making a Mini Cooper.

Wow, that looks awesome! Ferrari La-Ferrari (Ferrari the Ferrari ) It really looks as if a car is placed in that space.

Re: Automotive Vector Art & Illustrations

Here are a few that I have made last year. It all started when I bought my first motorcycle (usedRX100) in 2016 but it was parked in my home town and I could one ride it once in 3months when I used to go back.

To calm that frustration I used to illustrate my RX and made different paint schemes as to how it will look when it will get restored.

Like all 2 stroke Fans, I wanted an RD and a Jawa but I couldn't afford them. So Made the illustrations of these 2. Karizma was a childhood dream so I illustrated that as well.

For now, I am illustrating an Apache RTR 200 BS4, which is my current ride.

Bests,

UT

Hi there, I don't know why but I'm feeling as if someone is telling the story of my life Deja Vu!

That's really hard to believe that you are trying your hands on vector designs for the first time, Jetta looks smashing man. Keep that flow coming.

La Ferrari makes me go weak in the knees. She's my all-time and the most favourite car on this planet. Beautiful attempt brother.

Hi there, those are some really beautiful renditions, especially the Yamaha. Looks perfect for a drawing-room poster. And I would love to the Apache soon.

Now that's what I call a treasure. The GTO is just so enticing. Wonderful artwork man, if you have some more designs, I would love to see them. The finesse of your work is amazing. Waiting for your further designs.

Adding two of my favourite illustrations here.
Who says art has to be realistic?

Re: Automotive Vector Art & Illustrations

Awesome to see this work here - thanks for taking the trouble to share it Sachin_cs!

I remember seeing @Akshay.3939's M800 DX back in 2018 and thinking it was really cool.

Then, a few months later I saw that black Fiat UNO and fell off my chair!

Like he said, there really weren't any people doing vector work of Indian cars, and every time he posted new work I'd be impressed with the improvement.

Detailing on that race esteem is amazing, and the mountain goat too.

Would like to know more about the processs...
- Is it still done in Photoshop? Or Illustrator?
- It it traced over a picture, or is some of it 'freehand'?

Guess I'll wait till Akshay becomes a member to get answers!

It's always fun to watch GT cars and the design man, they so intrigue me. Great vision I must say.

Thank you so much buddy for the acknowledgement. The above threads are incredible, thanks for sharing them here, I was not aware of them. Some real interesting artworks and that acrylic Thunderbird is such a beautiful piece, a proper poster material.

Seeing these amazing artistry made me share my barbaric work-

I made this in our garage just before delivery of our new workhorse

This sketch was made a week before my Ladakh ride, it was pure imaginary, I didn't make any reference as such, turned out as decent piece for a novice
