have anyone ordered Mobile powerbanks from overseas? I ordered a powerbank from AliExpress and the item arrived at Mumbai APSO on April 16th (Shipped via Holland Post). On checking the status today, it seems like Customs have sent it back citing 'Undeliverable item, will be returned to sender'.
Now the confusion:
The tracking info from track-chinapost.com indicates it have indeed sent back, but in the last step, next destination is showing up as Mumbai again.
The tracking info from Postnl websites says the item will be returned to the seller.
So, did it actually go back, or can I still expect the delivery?

Customs are known to refuse batteries coming in.
I think there was some article on this in early 2014.
I had ordered a battery for iPod two years ago. Seller sent twice - it did not reach me.
In the end they sent to a US address and my friend carried it to India.

Thank you! Will wait for the shipper to update me. I contacted the shipper and he said he have contacted the post office and update me in few days.

Many Thanks msdivy
I wanted to order a External HD and am skeptical ordering from them.
Have seen a no. of very diverse comments and hence havent ordered yet.
The prices are practically 50% of Indian prices!! |
I would not recommend you buying storage devices or any branded item from Aliexpress. This site is good for things that you know are cheap chinese copies/ first copies of some famous products.
Although I have ordered Xiaomi Yi action camera, but I know that Xiaomi has a parternership with Ali. So be careful while ordering.
Everything is cheap but everything is not exactly as shown in the product description.
If possible , please share a link of one of the HD listing

Dear 4K
Thanks for the advice.
I was looking at the Samsung 2TB EHD and the price is approx. Rs.3700/-(which is actually lesser than the 1TB HD in India.

i bought PHILIPS 40PFL5059 from Flipkart India and its dead in 4 months. when i posted review mentioning same on Flipkart they refused to display it.
so dont trust Flipkart reviews ,critical reviews are never displayed.
^^Its a known fact with Flipkart. Once I wrote how I received my parcel with shoddy packing, they deleted the comment!

I have posted several negative reviews on products purchased by me, none of these reviews have been deleted.
Did you guys mention the price of the item anywhere in the reviews ?

I have has the same thoughts about FK, the reason why these companies are so eager for customers to use the app is that reviews aren't so easily readable on the app. FK barely displays anything critical about some of the useless stuff they sell with total misrepresentation.
Amazon is better, because you can look at the negative reviews alone, after all who wants to read the positive review, its the negative reviews that highlight the risks.

No, never did. I got an email asking me to review the product and not the Flipkart's process. That was frankly a turn-off. Why should I just review the 'product'? It is the shopping experience which flipkart is providing; they are not the manufacturer of the product. Ironically, my previous reviews in which I showered praises on FK were obviously accepted pretty well.

no, i just mentioned that product is okay for price but dead in 4 months. also commented about worst customer service from PHILIPS india.
in my case seller is w.s.retail so it will affect sales too.so another reason not to show critical reviews.

W.S.Retail is the official delivery wing of Flipkart. No wonder they do such non-sence things.

I once purchased a Belkin multi plug connector and when looked inside the plug connectors, clearly i could make out many plugs have been connected before its delivered to me. When raised a question regarding this they replaced the product which too was used!:Frustrati
Final point to make out here is STAY AWAY FROM W.S.Retail seller.

Have any of you ordered from healthkart (app or website). Am thinking of buying a protein supplement and would like feedback on their authenticity a d their delivery times.
I am unable to access Flipkart withOUT its App on my Android device.
I don't want to use the App.
I am not very fond of Flipkart and have not bought anything from them in the last two years. But if I cannot even view the site on Android, then I might have to just skip it completely.

After bitter experience with Mi4 phone I am highly vary of purchasing items online from Flipkart. Due to the high rate of returns mostly you end up receiving used or refurbished items.
