Had visited Hypercity (Kundalahalli) with the wife a couple of Sundays ago. Last time I had gone there was more than a year back (can't bear the traffic on the Marathahalli-Kundalahalli stretch), having switched allegiance to MK Retail in Indira Nagar so was in for a shock.

The place was teeming with logistics staff for grocery delivery startups. You couldn't throw a discovery club membership card without hitting someone wearing a Zopnow, Grofer or several other less-known names' t-shirts. Individual shoppers were so few and far between that we were feeling quite out of place there. :-)

We didn't linger; quickly finished what we came in for made our exit.

That's a YES. It will come the following month(s).
With me I also had done a KYC (which any way got delayed otherwise they say 3-4 days), but the CB came next month.

The Falken Tyres I ordered on Paytm reached me yesterday just as I returned from travel.
Neat clean delivery process in a minivan.
Accompanied by a big smile from the delivery person.
And a Bill/ Invoice for the exact amount paid.

And on checking my Paytm wallet I also found a nice fat credit amount of Rs 4000/- as promised by Paytm when I bought the tyres.

Now all that remains for me to do is to go and fix the tyres on the vehicle along with the usual alignment and balancing and so on.

A good experience so far.

The only thing Im unable to find on the tyres themselves is the manufacturing date. I guess I shall have to just look more closely.

So I went and got the tyres fitted up.
Falken Wildpeak HT01.
The manufacturing date is the 51st week of year 2015 which means December end.
The tyres are good and fill the wheel arches better than before.
I find the ride quality much enhanced as well.
I ve also added in these suspension dampers from Rogerab and that certainly has helped undoubtedly. The 4 suspension dampers cost me Rs 6000 at the tyre shop.
Overall I am happy to have paid an effective price of 24000 for 4 Falken Tyres on Payt. - around 6000 per tyre. Well worth it!
So even considering the cost of the Rogerab dampers which I paid for at the Tyre shop, since Paytm gave me a Rs 4000 Cash back, I have effectively employed that money, in some sense to enhance my car further. Effective cost of 4 tyres + 4 dampers = 28000/-

Hahaha. I know that is the most painful part of Aliexpress. I end up tracking it almost every 2nd day. As much as I don't long for my dear ones, I long for the postman's visit around the delivery time.:deadhorse

Their US express box service is great. Reaches in 7 days. whenever I have someone coming down in the near future, I get things delivered to them. They should have consolidation service for India too, considering the number of people buying on Aliexpress these days.

Guys, Amazon India has a lightning deal for a pack of 10 3M microfiber cleaning cloth at Rs. 878. Sounds like a steal since I have seen this product being used in my Office and its very good for car cleaning. Have placed an order.

Ten of that for rupees 878. Regular price is 1000. This is sold by retailers at 150-200 per piece. But the link you show is a different cloth. The one in your link is from 3M car care. The one I ordered is from 3M scotch brite. Basically used in industrial and janitorial fields. Check in the industrial supplies section. Incidentally, I came across AmazonBasics 24 pieces MF cloth for 10 euros in Germany :D Planning to return the one purchased in India. Sounded like a sweet deal and I am not sure why, I was charged 0 for the purchase from my card. Very wierd.

Whilst some of them were more expensive, most of my microfibre cloths cost very little from cheapo shops in UK. Anything from five for a pound to about a pound (GBP) each.

I bought a couple of OPT (Optimum Car Care) cloths last week, one general and one for glass. Rather more expensive, but the quality is excellent. One can tell good microfibre: it has a sort of grippy feeling, almost tacky, as the micro fibres reach into your skin!
