No, but, 90% discount ? An office chair at INR 1.4k ? Shipping itself would cost them, hell Nilkamal plastic chair itself comes to around INR 600. Either this is like that boo boo Amazon did with that expensive split AC or these guys genuinely want to burn money.

Scam. Old adage, if it's too good to be true, it is.
There's a lot of such stuff coming up now, especially facebook adverts. The images are usually of products that cost about 20 times what they're being offered at.
You can check the domain also, typically registered within the last few weeks or so. Idea is to collect some payments and vanish.

Looks like a scam website to me.
The address in 'Contact Us' section is bogus. There is no 'paschim vihar' in Bangalore and pin codes here start with 560xxx

It surely looks to be a scam site. The domain was registered 3 days back.
The registrar says : Creation Date: 2021-08-08
Another red flag - it uses Let's Encrypt SSL. The free SSL certificate is intended for personal and information sites; Never for serious ecommerce sites. If the site can't fork over a few dollars from commercial Certificate Authorities for an ecommerce site, no one will spend a cent/pisa there.

Not to mention the +91-11 phone number (STD code of Delhi).
The "About Us" page refers to Rolcub Shopping Private Limited, which does not seem to exist in RoC's database of private limited companies.
I think they just scraped the website of some other company and made some basic edits, but couldn't even do a decent job out of it.

How does reputed payment gateway like 'razorpay' tie up with these guys?
Wouldn't they do some due diligence on their end?

Yes, they typically offer Rs 20,000 worth of product for Rs 500. Gullible folks are willing to lose Rs 500 in the dream of getting Rs 20,000 worth. These scammers make few crores in few days and then vanish. The local police can't trace them.
PS: Facebook must weed out them in the interest of its product.

If the cops want it, isn't it easy to find where the money is going? BTW, complaining to Razorpay doesn't help either since RazorPay doesn't care about the shipping.

I've seen similar adds on instagram. When I took a look, there was no detail about the chair at all. I wouldn't trust.
Hi.
I need some help in buying something off eBay. Specifically eBay UK. I was looking to buy a diecast scale model. It was available with several sellers. But none ship to India. One seller had it on auction and I confirmed with him if he could send it to India and he did confirm it. But after I won the bid he asked me to pay the money outside eBay and as I was not comfortable doing that, I backed out.
So how exactly do we buy an item off eBay UK and get it shipped to India. My international shopping has been limited to low value items of upto INR 4K from AliExpress and I have no idea of how to go about this.

A whole bunch of companies are into providing this service that you want. Aramex is one such company. They provide a local address with an unique ID for you, (in UK, for your case). Once the seller sends the parcel to this address, they will pick it up and ship it to you in India. They will take care of any customs duty, etc. All you have to do is pay them for their services. I enrolled with Aramex many years ago, but have never used their services. I think many Tbhpians have used such services extensively - you can search this very thread for their experiences.

It seems you're from Pune. Ikea delivers to Pune. You can get something nice and inexpensive from it.

I was not aware of such services. Thank for this. :)
https://www.buyandship.in/ is also such site that also allows shopping through Amazon US.
I recently wanted this OBD tool but the price on Amazon IN is exorbitant.
How reliable are these services anyway? Anyone used such service?

I have used MyUs.com and they are very reliable. But keep in mind that on top of their fee and shipping charge, you will have to pay customs and customs clearance charges as well. So, calculate the full amount and take a call.
