re: The "Online Shopping" Thread

Warning for online shoppers here: Use only COD mode for any orders from Snapdeal

They hardly fulfill your orders. If you pay upfront, they return money in terms of SD cash & not back into your account/credit card.

I ordered 3 items (of course, COD mode) and only 1 got delivered and no status update on the other two. It just says, To be shipped with a past date now.

I dont know if this has been asked before but has anyone tried www.creationwatches.com, the prices are pretty good especially for the Seikos and the reviews also seem genuine. Moreover, they ship as a gift and often we need not pay the customs duty.
Only thing holding me back is the age old saying "If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is"

Just came across this website.

I has say , Not to shop at snapdeal. They too offered me SD cash , which I refused. fortunately they reversed the transaction to my credit card and i obliged them by taking pledge of "never to order anything from them" . No matter how big the deal is .

Key is to communicate via emails. I never called them to cancel order. Simply mailed them .

re: The "Online Shopping" Thread

As per snapdeal's policy, refund for amounts below Rs.1000 will be in SD cash. For anything above, you can have a choice of SD money or refund into mode of payment. Fortunately in my case, I got my order as I had seen on the site. But will never order from Tradus again. Horrible experience.

re: The "Online Shopping" Thread

(f1store.formula1.com)

I had placed an order for a force india team tshirt 3 weeks back ,after constant follow up was given a new delivery date.

Got an email from them stating they are unable to find my address and hence have offered to do a full refund if i cancel my order

Already fed up with them i went ahead and did the cancellation (refund expected in 2-3 working days)

What amazes me is that they refused to provide the courier tracking number when i asked for it

Anyways no more f1store for me

Are you sure that the deals are good ? I looked at one.

A carton damaged Nokia 720 at Rs 14,xxx vis-a-vis 16,xxx for a new one is not worth the risk I believe, although gobol does assure manufacturer warranty.

"Flipkart screwed me over: Here's how they could stick it to you as well"

Seems flipkart is losing credibility here.
