I had placed 10 fully paid orders on Xiaomi sharesave app more than month ago .
Till date they are yet to move goods out of their overseas warehouse.
There is no option to cancel these orders.
I have tweeted to manukumarjain, sharesave and Xiaomi official id's many times.
They have not even bothered to reply.
Wondering what next?

I have been seeing this ad pop up online. Prices seem unbelievable even for other products. Anyone have any experience with this ?
Their offers are too good to be true. eg. Apple Watch 3 sale at Rs.6290/-
But their site is not professional and the language is pathetic which reminds you of Chinenglish. Watches are fakes all right, but Apple watch ? Bose speakers at throwaway prices ?

You don't want to find out the hard way.

I bought a Xiaomi wifi switch some time ago. 3rd day it conked off. I couldn't contact anyone there and I had to throw the product to the dustbin. Lesson learnt the hard way. It is another story that the product was eventually pulled off the shelf.

Raise a dispute with your card issuing bank and they should be able to help you.

Re: The Online Shopping Thread

Has anyone tried FileJoker ? Feedback, pls.

I see either a direct sign-up (the Visa/MC options show as recurring). Or via other billing options like

Took a quick look. Felt it is a solution in search of a problem. What is wrong with self-encrypting and uploading to Google Drive or Dropbox?

There's nothing available on what encryption they use, either.

Re: The Online Shopping Thread

The news has that "Amazon Flex Will Let You Earn Extra Cash Delivering Packages for Amazon India Part Time"

They have a similar program in the US.

Hopefully now the deliveries will become a bit better. [Just as how office commute has improved for many with Quick Ride!]

Good initiative. Hope they do well.

Re: The Online Shopping Thread

Did little unusual online shopping ordered 4 plants from nurserylive.com

As a free gift for purchase above certian value they promised a mogra plant free. Received in two batches first was more commonly available Calandaria plant and a Mogra (free gift) which probably they sourced and delivered within Bangalore.
Other batch consisted of Kokum tree sapling, Pink Bauhinia and a Canon Ball tree plant which was packed nicely and shipped from Pune by fedex see the picture. Total time 1 week to process order and 1 week from dispatch to delivery.

This was my first experience of buying plants online and pleasant. Locally I tried multiple nurseries including famous lalbagh one however people manning them have no iota of information about the plant/name species and you need to pick and choose yourself. Also its quite difficult to ask for plants not very regularly sold.

Re: The Online Shopping Thread

Having bit of an issue trusting online sellers other than Amazon. Nursery live & Ugaoo sent me dried up and dying plants, Seniority.in sent me a used and damaged infrared thermometer. Cash was paid they give wallet credit, so that's another issue. Tread carefully, guys. So at the moment, I trust only Amazon.

You may want to apply it for now (if you have not done already). They have limited period offer running till July end.

If you want to download music/files uploaded on filejoker, I would suggest going with link generators like this one. They are cheaper and you get access to other sites as well.

https://linkifier.com/go-premium/

There are many other services. One of them I use is real-dedbrid.

Thanks, Atulsian. How does the payment work ? If I select 30 days or 90 days access - does the site automatically charge my card at the end of this period ?

They don't charge it automatically. You can renew after your access is expired, if you wish to.
