Heres the Lexus GX [Landcruiser Prado]

I guess the same changes are needed. Bonnet, headlights and grille. And of course the L badges.

The conversion to make the prado look like above can only be done to the new shape i.e the 2003 model onwards and not to the previous ones i.e the older regular shape that we see on Indian rds.

true man the lexus is not sold in japan. i was talkign abt the onew for exports. cause even my friend recently got ine down from dubai. although the car came on from japan he got it registered in dubai and tehn rerouted it back to india so he would have to pay only less duty. anyways he ended up shelling out 30 k plus just on madras customs....

*I have been in the market for a good suv myself for sometime saw a beautiful LX470(cygnus) in delhi 1000km for 45, i am pretty sure i could have had it for 40, but i let it go, cuz my dad asked me to wait until the end of business year, anyhow..i had a question man..you said the X5 3.0 is 55 lakhs, that sounds out rageous can you please find that out for me, I am also interested in an X5 as well, also if possible can you show me the math, wait here is what I was looking for...
comes to around 50,000 US with duty which is 102% + octroi which i think is 4% of the cost of the car + shipping of 3500$ should come to no more than 47 lakhs, also this is without negotiating with the dealer..please can you explain this to me, another one I am interested in is the 7 series , most likely the 735Li, can you please tell me how much would it be, We have had the S320 for about 10 months now but are looking to exchange for the 7 if we can get a good price for both...

Some info would be great.

Hi I dont know if the GX is parado, GX looks different and I think is a little bigger but I could be wrong.

I am puzzuled about the prices quoted by dealers man..there is no std to it, and I fail to understand how it is so expensive to own a car in UK/europe, I was shocked to know that prices in germany for a MB are higher than that of MB in US...

eg SL55 was quoted as 114 Euros where a nicely configured SL55 I get for 120$, a difference of about 17,000$ to which when you add duty comes to about 15 lakhs higher..its wiered...I dont understand y it is difficult to get the correct pricing.

Anyhow..

its beef I will have to resolved by talking to dealers in detail..
