Ummm... red ikon and green underglow...contrasting colours..nice
red ikon and white underglow.....will make the red appear as a more powerful colour.....

Im not a huge fan for underglow...but then it does look kinda cool sometimes ;-]

cheers

Try Sajjid at moto sport he is at Carter Rd. He has a few. Normally the choice in colors for underglow usually is Red,Blue and Green. I would go for Red under the car. And for the skirts or body Kit try Rio Design at pali Hill Bandra. He has made a nice kit for the Ikon.

I second that, amazing chap this Rio. Underbody lighting I wouldnt recommend, but then its a matter of personal choice.

dude you better have some additional casing put on those neons because they are extremely fragile.Plus, roads here are very bumpy and 1 tap on those lights is enough to ruin them.

Byram,

The underbody lights are usually LEDs.... lower power consumption, lower running voltage, last longer, dont break easily, last almost indefinitely etc etc.... atleast LEDs are the more common "neon" underglow.....personally didnt even know they used neon tubes!?...

well he newons r a problem all the time. actually the do get damaged if bumped. and another thing u can always put the lights far into the chasis so that it wont scarpe the lightss even if the car bottoms put on a speed breaker. just put the neon housing deep into the chasis. even the light quality wont be affected either

But aren't these underglow lights illegal? I have heard cases where people have been fined for this in Blore. Dunno about Bbay though.

Maybe the best underglow job i've ever seen was on this Santro in Blore. The lights would increase intensity as the revvs increased and would switch off when he changed gears and the whole process would start all over again. It was as if the lights were in some way connected to the engine rpm.

Regards...

In Bombay neon lights arent illegal i guess.
What is illegal is havin neon light surrounding your number plate. And those blue/red LEDs bolts on the number plate.

hahaha...well, the cops themselves are not sure what is legal or not. I got pulled over once by a Pandu who said that driving with my foggies on was illegal!! Well, after wasting my time, he let me go after a lesson on the law!

Thats me teaching him the law btw!
