I have hardly done about 20KM in my both cars during this lockdown period, so even my cars are definitely longing for a good long drive.
So my first priority obviously would be to go on a relatively long and relaxed drive with my family on the weekend.
The to do list in order of priority:-
1. Thank Bhagwanji, at the Ghatkopar Mandir where I go usually, for keeping all my family and friends safe.
2. Drive to my servant maid's home and hand over some cash.
3. A drive to Lonavala carrying homemade tea, food and packaged snacks.
4. Get my motorcycle's battery charged.
5. A motorcycle ride to Lonavala on the same lines as pt 3.

It's not negative, it's practical. I have a "Run Bag" at home with cash, important documents, cards etc. Am also firm believer of the Scouts motto of "Be Prepared".
Isn't that all us petrolheads do when it comes to vehicles?

Excellent thread!! My list, in order of priority, would be:
1. During the lockdown have been using my bike for errands (groceries etc.) and done a total of 150kms since 22-Mar, so first want to go for a long drive. The longer the better - over multiple days/weeks, even better. :uncontrol
2. A long Sun morning ride - probably to Sydney Point to watch the sunrise.
3. More mini vacations - plan to use my entire leave entitlement for the year rather than trying to carry forward some of it.
4. Test ride the KTM 390 Adv - been binge watching reviews.
5. Go back to office - working from home is not my cup of tea.
Wow, what timing. I just picked up a pre-worshipped Mini Cooper S four days back and my post-lockdown car related list is pretty simple.
1. Get a full service done including the infamous timing chain, the pano sunroof is acting up and needs some attention.
2. Get some much needed basic accessories for the car like Bluetooth Car Kit, it’s already added to my amazon cart but planning to wait for another month.
3. Start driving around Berlin and Germany slowly, I think we need some adjustments in the post-covid word and I think it’s gonna be much better to drive around than taking trains/flights/buses.
Adding an image of the red baby monster.

My wishlist: -
1) Road Trip
2) Continue with more road trips
3) Biryanis & burgers (the real ones - not McDonald's)
4) More Road trips
On a lighter note:
Team-bhp alone has a membership of 60k+ and a lot more readers. All of them (me included)will have a bucket list of going for a long drive post lockdown.
I wonder how much time will we end up in traffic jams, but hey, it will be worth it. Tired of resting at home!
I have a few more items on the bucket list:
1. Get some test drives, planning to upgrade my car.
2. Get wife's car serviced. The car hasn't moved an inch since lockdown. It should be a good time to get it serviced.
My entire bucket list involves traveling:
1. First, a trip to Goa to shake off the lockdown blues
2. Just before the lockdown, my friend and I had completed a winter drive to Spiti and back. It was such a wonderful experience that I want to do the summer version that includes some camping near the Spiti river
3. A road trip to the places less travelled in the TN-Kerala border (Western Ghats). Places including Manjolai, Kurangani etc.
4. A looong road trip across multiple countries (or within another country) organised by an adventure company like TerraQuest or Adventures Overland
5. Road trip to the Northeast - Sikkim, Meghalaya, Arunachal etc.
6. Spend some part of December at Kathadi North near Rameswaram and do some sea kayaking, paddle boarding etc.
7. Road trip around the South Island, New Zealand
DRIVE, DRIVE & DRIVE. What else one can expect from a BHP'ian?
I can't describe how much I've missed driving in the last 2.5 months. Will be starting frequent short morning drives around Pune to nearby places. There were few pending nick- nack items which I have already ordered this week from Amazon.
DRIVE ofcourse………
1. Drive the E90 to lonavla or Panshet or Panchgani !
2. Eat at a nice restaurant.
Quite simple really. A solo long drive in my RS. The lack of a drive is a serious morale buster. Even the weekly grocery run is looked forward to so much...and usually figuring out the longer route to the store!
Drive on,
Shibu
Well, few things are in order since I went full LED and fixed my ac compressor:
1) Pointless night drives at 3am
2) Trips to Pondicherry/Yercaud/Kodaikanal
3) Bandipur Forest Reserve after sunset towards Ooty
4) Might even drive from Bangalore to Lucknow
Other non-car things:
1) 32GB ram isn't enough. Need another 32. Local shops give the best prices
2) Possibly move to another city
My wishes are not so much related to lockdown. I have very recently relocated to a new country. My driving license for this country has expired. I need to wait for 3 more weeks to get my residence permit before I can take a quick multiple choice test and get my driving license renewed. I am itching to drive desperately. It is even harder when a nice brand new car is already waiting for you with the keys staring at you on your desk. Being able to drive is part of my freedom. I hate being driven around by a driver, friend or a colleague.
Because of the nature of my job, I am allowed to commute even in the lockdown. Over last two months of lockdown, I have added some 1500km to my odometer which is still half of what I had been doing in recent months. This includes my daily commute plus occasional evening drives without getting off the car to the areas where there are no police checkpoints (I live in the sub-urb). That's why not any road trip right after the lockdown only for leisure. But I've to run a few errands in different cities that have been pending and hence, some outstation trip post lockdown.
