Domnic,

I have seen the prices that most car dealers in India charge for the K&N as well as other imported stuff, and they are just too much. But then, its probably coz they are taking the official route and have to make do with the duties and local taxes.

What programs do you use to remap the ECM's? Also, beside just increasing revv limits, what else is possible?

Thanks

GTO

Hey GTO,
* * Filters are cheap nowadays as we get them in bulk, most filters for example a filter for a honda city will range between 3000 to 4500 depending on the type you like. Filters such as the Titanium top and Carbon Fibre will cost around 5000 to 6500 depending on size and type again.
* *The programs we use to reprogram are softwares developed in the US. The thing is that we can do *many things with the ECM from Rev setting, Fuel Mapping, loading, constraints, speed limiter, Lamda reading resetting and other things. But we dont do all these here as we dont really have a Dyno for testing. And experimenting without a dyno can be bad. We can either loose hp or gain. So we stick to the basics. We have fuel maps worked out for several cars here, a few things we change in the PCB from a few diodes *to other things to change rev-limits.

Hope this answers your question.

DOm

the spark plugs give a better spark!!!
just kidding..well they will give you a much smoother ignition and better overall running efficiency. you can put in a good set of platinum plugs for your nissan. cost you around 800rs.
