We are getting a thrashing out there man.

And Pakistan has been destroyed by some absolutely SUPERB and DISCIPLINED bowling. The Irish batting will be fun to watch. Go IRELAND Go.
NC, Its a long game ... though it doesnt seem that fate is on our side -- all the catches just outta reach, LBWs just missing , but its a FUNNY game . Dont count ur chickens yet ..We wont lose though umay get a bonus for the scrape thru .

As for Ireland ... Even I say GO IRELAND GO , and Gray was unlucky to be given out .

Cheers

I guess its almost over. 187/5. They beat the crap out of us.

So much for the HOO HAA INDIA AAYA INDIA. An abolute waste. The guys here just hype them too much. Get them losers back here. A loss from minnows team now is all that is needed for icing on the cake

And no Bangladesh is not a minnow team

I KNOW ... I KNOW ... !!!! But Pakistan is out of the WC , that too defeated by Ireland . So if we lose to SL, IF is the magic word , we wud be following Pak to that lil island in the middle of the Pacific and play gulli danda -- Ind vs Pak !!!

But its OK ... no use hollering for us to get them back .... Its a game , even the Aussies have lost to them -- SO BIG DEAL !! We still need to support them .. ;-)

It's sad that we lost but on the bright side at least the team won't be on the same pedestal as we always put them on.

Wrong! No a waste. We can still say "HOO HAA INDIA (WAPAS) AAYA INDIA".
Not to forget, "WAPAS AAYA PAKISTAN".
Don't lose heart dear fellows. Going by the way minnows are performing in the Cricket World Cup, India may be the next surprise of the next Football World Cup.

On a more serious note, many of our cricketers don't deserve their place in the team. We've been bearing guys like Sehwag and Tendulkar for too long. A "throw out" did Saurav Ganguly a lot of good. He returned as a much better player. Why not use the same formula for other players as well?

India continue with traditions in WC. Out of 9 opening games India lost 6. With just managing to win against Netherland. India will rise.. lets be supporters and not critical ..

I think almost everyone is still hoping and supporting for India to win, but the anger is against the team for constantly disappointing after all they get and receive from the public directly and indirectly (fame and money) from the public.

Part of this is blame also rests on the public though for making the cricketers an almost god-like persona.

Its a blessing in disguise for us, atleast now a fraction of that money going to Cricket will head towards other sports in our country.

Well , I guess the chances are as good as nil now for going into the 2nd stage for India. I don't think we can beat SL looking at our performance yesterday.

Thank God we do not have Ireland in our group. The way Ireland bowled yesterday we would not have reached 100 too.

Now what ? Where does India go from here ?

2 things - Drop Sehwag asap (if only Kaif had this much of support) and simply pull up the socks and get going - all is not lost, not yet !!

The cups is not over for India...as yet.
True, Indian hopes hang by a slender thread...but as we have seen with Pakistan in 1992, that may be good enough :-)
