Such a sad news. When the news popped up in our WhatsApp groups, I could not believe it. I had message few people to confirm the same.
I remember Mihir pinging me to go for Ducati Monster when I told in group that I am looking to upgrade.
I remember Mihir flying past me in his Ducati on our rides multiple times and that one time, when he was an obedient sweeper riding at the back.
I remember him telling me to go for Shoei as my next helmet and will help me get one from during his next business travel.
He was gentle soul and will be definitely be missed in future rides. Specially the ones through smaller roads where his revvs would act as horn for the whole group.
May you rest in peace brother. You will be missed.

Very sad to know about his passing. RIP Mihir.
We never met but on the forum, people who we haven't met feel like we've known for long. Wish we could have ridden our bikes together sometime and interacted in person.

Met him at a Bangalore breakfast get-together a couple years ago. Affable chap, and the biker group conversation was rather lively.

Condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P.

Although I haven't met him in person but have interacted a couple of times on the forum. In fact it started with a disagreement on a topic. Instead of replying him on the thread I sent a PM. He a turned out to be a very warm and welcoming personality. His last conversation with me was this

Quote:
I have a history like you - used to own a Karizma until a auto guy hit me from behind and i broke my arm. Family made me sell. I finally bought my Z900 after 9 long years a month back :-)

Hopefully you shall be a owner of a SBK soon as well
Deepest condolences to his family and friends

Sad to hear.

Though never met him but he was quite active in the super bike threads.
Remember reading his posts. His catchy name for his team bhp handle holds on.
What happened?

How did he die?

It's so difficult on the family when someone so young leaves unexpectedly. May god give them the strength to bear this loss. He had a handle that stood out. May his soul rest in peace.

Default R.I.P. Mihir Saxena (ethanhunt123)

I've met some of my best friends riding a motorcycle; Mihir was no exception.

I met Mihir on one of our many breakfast rides. Very quiet person, yet friendly, fun and down to earth. Although he rode a Multistrada, he didn't have an air of superiority about him; it was the ride, who he was riding with and where we were riding to, that mattered to him. He would happily lead and be more than happy to sweep (if you saw two aux lights and red in the rear view mirror, you'd know it was him).

Mihir was very knowledgeable and a gem of a person. Always ready to help anyone who'd ask for it, always there whenever anyone needed him. He was the biggest Ducati fan I've ever known. He would try and coax us to get a Ducati and go into the details of the pros and cons and why Ducati was better than others. He was a Ducati brand ambassador through and through.

We'd have unending debates and conversations about bikes and riding gear and everything under the sun in our group chat. So much so that I put the group on mute, else it would go ding ding ding all day I'm gonna miss those conversations with him.

When I heard the news, it started with disbelief, then shock and when the news was confirmed and it sunk in, the inevitable tears. I pray to God to give his family and loved ones the strength to bear this terrible loss. Those of us who knew Mihir and were close to him - I know the anguish is unfathomable; one of our brothers has fallen.

I'd like to share few memories of our rides together:
