R.I.P. Mihir Saxena (ethanhunt123)

Team,

It is with profound sadness that I create this thread for my beloved friend and BHPian 'ethanhunt123'.

A part of me still doesn't want to believe the news, but we have been trying to reach out to him from the past few days without success. It is learned now that Mihir passed away in his sleep a couple of days ago - the reason for death is suspected to be of natural cause.

All of us from the Bangalore TeamBhp biking community knew him to be a warm-hearted person - always reaching out to help others, sourcing and bringing quality helmets and riding gear for friends from abroad, always turning up for rides and being extremely passionate for biking and his ride. A big Ducati fan at heart - I hope heaven has a Multistrada V4 in store for him.

RIP Mihir. You will be dearly missed.

May God give his family the strength to bear this loss.

Re: R.I.P. Mihir Saxena (ethanhunt123)

2020 continues to trickle bad news one after the other, I had met him just once on a ride but we were always chatting on the WhatsApp group. Very sweet person, always ready to help fellow bikers, it is so heart breaking to hear that he is no more. RIP Mihir, your most anticipated MS V4 is waiting for you up there. You will be missed.

That’s absolutely shocking. He was always there in the superbike thread and was one of the few who was determined with his views even if it was different from others.
This year has been running wild and cant get any worse. Rest in Peace sir. Hope your family find strength in this situation. Prayers.

Re: R.I.P. Mihir Saxena (ethanhunt123)

Oh my God!! How on earth!!

This is insane. I have never interacted with him. But, I know that he was the beating heart of the riding groups in Bangalore. I have also seen his posts on various biking threads. His passion for Ducati and his Multistrada was quite apparent.

I don't know how old he was. But, he surely could not have been up there in the years. This is so sad!!

I have never met the guy and I am feeling absolutely horrid based on what I know of him from his posts on the forum. I can only imagine what his family must be going through. I pray that the Almighty give his family strength to bear this loss.

RIP ethanhunt123 !!

This is very shocking.

My heart goes out to his family at this tough time. May his soul rest in peace.
Loved his posts in the sbk threads even though I did not know him personally and had hoped to ride with him at some point.

May his family and friends have the strength needed to live on ahead in his absence.

Re: R.I.P. Mihir Saxena (ethanhunt123)

I still can't believe it when a friend with whom I was riding in the morning, called me and told me this.

Mihir was a genuine person, and extremely helpful as described by Sujai. This comes as a huge drawback and feels like a personal loss.

RIP dear mihir, you will always be remembered.

This year keeps getting worse.

I hope you are in a happy place brother.

Re: R.I.P. Mihir Saxena (ethanhunt123)

I'm deeply saddened and at a loss for words. It's not fair and it's too soon. There is only so much you can gather from someone's online persona. With Mihir it was very evident he lived to ride and was a true Ducatista.
But I also had the privilege of knowing him in the real world too. To describe him in one word "Selfless". Willing to share in good times and help in bad times and expecting nothing in return. In the past one year that I have known him not a day has gone by where we have not had some nonsensical discussion on whatsapp so when there was utter silence in the past few days I knew something was wrong but NO not this.. This is just not fair. He had a very sharp mind (IIM-B graduate) and whenever I needed advice he was always there to listen and help.
I will miss you brother, though one day we will ride together again.
Ride on bro!

Re: R.I.P. Mihir Saxena (ethanhunt123)

When I saw this message in our riding group, it took me a couple of reads to really realize who it is talking about. Because, it is completely unbelievable that someone who has been quite an active member of the group and someone with whom we have had a lot of discussions, jokes, what not is no more. And this at an unexpected age and circumstances. Having met him a few times, we have had a few pleasant interactions. What has happened is unfortunate and sad. I pray god gives his near and dear ones strength and courage to overcome this loss.
