We are all very familiar with the Tata Group and we don't look at Tata Steel and Tata motors as the same company. But, if this discussion was on a non-Indian automobile forum, where most users may know Tata motors, but not the Tata Group, imagine how thunderstruck those readers would be if someone there was to say how TATA makes literally everything - tea, software, cars, refrigerators, runs hotels, airlines...etc.

Carroll Shelby, the legendary racing driver and designer was also a Chili connoisseur. In 1969 he transformed 2 lakh acres of mining land to host the world's first-ever Chili cook-off Championship. Shelby and CV Wood founded the International Chili Society.

His company still makes Chili Kits.

Mercedes and Porsche （Porsche Design, actually) are into eyewear as well. I quite used to like PD sunglasses of yesteryears, they had quite a few unique deaigns. These days they are all generic stuff.

Besides cars, the Swedish company is also known for the armaments including the Gripen fighter, anti-tank missile, radar and more.

This should be obvious, but in such cases, it's just that the car maker's logo is on a perfume that's made by somebody else (a perfumer). Of course, and especially in the case of big-name car brands, someone who works at the car company will have some input into the fragrance, but sometimes it's just a lame branding exercise.

Once in a blue moon though, it can be something special.

Many years ago, when I first visited Horacio Pagani in his office at the Pagani factory, the room smelt like a grassy lawn (in a good way). The windows were all closed and there was no grass outside, so I asked him what the smell was. He got quite animated and told me about this fragrance that he had created: it smells of freshly-cut grass and reminds him of his native Argentina. Apparently it helps him focus and be creative. I told him that I really liked it too and that it'd be awesome if he shared it with the world. When I was leaving, he gave me a bottle full of it. Some time later, it did become an official Pagani product (and I received more bottles of the final thing). It's called "The Andes Wind" and is made by a master perfumer in Italy.

Skoda also makes Trams, locomotives. Skoda trams are a very common sight in Eastern Europe - especially in Prague. Had also seen few in Lithuania.
