Hey nitrous man this place is sucks the cops are very narrow wminded out here belive me when the see a modified car out here they think the guy driving the car is a druggi can u belive that stickers are really sucks at the most u will get nos *sitckers I just went out and got some stickers like nos, greedy,autometer and momo that was the best i could find when i asked the guy about decals u will only get them in Dubai man in dubai u will get every dam thing for car from Nos to engine upgrades but saudi is the pits

Here is a very old thread which I want to resurrect. I was hunting for exactly such a thread and thankfully I found it here on tbhp.
As some of you know I have a ten year old Mini Cooper. Now overall, considering things, according to most of my classmates and other friends, I haven't really grown up much because I still collect scale model cars, Tintin memorabilia and love to put tasteful stickers and decals on my real cars.
To this end, I have got a few nice period-relevant and/or marque-relevant stickers and decals recently via ebay. And I want to place some of them, if not all of them, on my Mini. I have two of each of these. Now the typical thought is for symmetry’s sake one must use both. But then there is always the joy of being a singleton too.
What Im looking for are suggestions on placement of these on my Mini.

So I have basically decided to celebrate the glory days of Rallying etc by putting what I consider to be tasteful decals and stickers on my Cooper.
Re-living childhood in a sense, one might say.

Great little car and handsomely maintained as well! A lot of effort goes in to keep your beloved car shining the way your car shines!

I for one, am sucker for originality and simply hate anything articially added to the car, bike, fridge, wardrobe etc.

I can surely understand your feeling behind having those decals. Maybe you like or relate to them, however a Marlboro decal on suxh an icon car is a downer for me atleast. We have a dedicated thread for smokers wanting to kill the habit. This willl re-enforce "don't quit revolution" for them! Not that I am a smoker, bit been there, done it all types.

To each his own, but I find adding decals on an otherwise a very handsome car is a bit tacky.

Its an old car. And has been kept more or less original all along. Yes I try and keep it clean and nice.
It has lots of scratches, some quite deep.
Some of the decals that I put, help to hide those.

I like these old decals and I just wanted to re-create the 1970’s and 1980’s Rally look, nothing else. I too used to be a smoker but quit. I do however like the Marlboro Logo. But I ll probably pull it off after a while.

Just trying things for fun. After all, its only some
Stickers on a ten year old car. Stickers add another 20bhp of Zoom to it after all!
