I'd pay anywhere between 50k-1.25 lakhs. i've heard of old BMWs being sold for 4 lakhs. This one is not even worth 1.5 lakhs. Ofcourse 53K is peanuts for a Honda engine, but when a car is 12 years old, there are bound to be other mechanical problems, waiting to pounce on you.

How about some engine specs?

I can hazard a guess.

If its a Mumbai registered car, it could fetch anywhere between 1.5-2.5 lakhs depending on the actual condition of the internals. Going by an average, the car has done around 52k in 12 years. That means roughly 4300 odd kms a year. Its not much. It'd have been ok if it were a 1-1.5 year old car with around 5-6k on the clock, this one is pushing it too far. The body looks clean in the pictures and seem to have held up well. But its only judgement on the basis of the picture.

My advice, look at the car hard and give it to an expert mechanic to completely view the internals. If not, pay Honda showroom guys a visit, give em a tip and let them thoroughly inspect the car and ask them the condition and what repairs need to be carried out. If it turns out to be Rs. 50k+, walk away from the car. Its not worth keeping it, especially if you are going to use on a regular basis.

Is the car Auto or Manual ?
Also do the Power mirrors that were standard on this car still work ?
It looks like the 2.0 litre model.donno the Hp?
I think its not more than 100.
Also, the car does not have original paint , its definately being repainted , maybe the same shade; though nice job done
Alloys look good.

I think 1.25 should be the right price , if u needed 40k as extra expense.
Anyone interested in buying a Accord should visit santacruz BAndh
One will find at least half a dozen for sale.
But will have to be very careful while picking one.

A friend of mind sold one of his 92 Accord recently for bout 1.2L which was in good condition and had bout 60K on the odo.So considering that i guess u've got a pretty fair deal at 1.5L.

I was in Juhu today and I seen your car at the same place where you took that snap!

Awesome!! The car is in superb condition. It was all shining n all, and I was just staring at it when I passed. Even noted the number to confirm its yours, but cannot post it (you know why). There is this 1992 super blue color Accord in my area with the same wheels (but in golden) and I'll soon remove some pics and post it here itself.

Keep it up!
