In a lighter vein, in favour of the muscle car, is this pic taken from jalopnik titled "Disc Brakes are for cowards"
Muscle, Exotic or Tuner...which car would YOU choose?-walker_plymouth.jpg
I cant but help imagine what ball busting fun it would be like to be in that wild plymouth.

Definitely exotic!Other two dont give competition at all.No matter how good your musle or tuner looks it doesnt stand a chance against exotics!

@greenhorn LOL, you might want to check out the Duesenberg SSJ

@punter.. ya, right. File:Ford Auctions Mustang GT500KR Glass Roof at 2008 Barrett-Jackson 4.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Point me towards an exotic that can match the sheer presence of that baby.

Short deck, long hood and a V8... who cares about handling :P

Hi there.

Been away from the forum for some time, but been a bit busy in between hospital stays and lots of time to get better .

Time to do with what you may ask?

Started with a circa. 1973 English muscle car and gave it some steroids and have come with this
V8 Stroked to 496 c.i.d with all new race standard crank, pistons
Edelbrock RPM Pro-former cylinder head
552 BHP
610 lbs ft torque
Automatic TF727 Up rated gearbox to 950BHP
Gearvendors Overdrive added for cruising comfort (And able to handle 1600BHP)
Front brake set up, AP Racing 356mm grooved discs
AP Racing 6 pot Calipers
Rear Brakes set up, 315mm grooved discs
3 Pot Calipers
Up rated front and rear suspension
High volume Aeromotive fuel pump
this is needed because of the carburetor replaced with a F.A.S.T Fuel MPI Injection system fitted and 55lbs Injectors
MSD 6AL, MSD Dizzy, MSD II High Capacity coil.
To give some eye candy for the viewing admirers All the engine add on parts are either polished or chromed
The body has been modified to accept 265/40/18 back and fronts 235/45/18 put on one off 3 piece custom made wheels 9" back and 8" front
This is just some of the work done to wet your appetite all photos will be posted when it is presented to general public on the 20 June at the Jensen International Show.
Oh forgot to tell you what the car was, It is a Jensen Interceptor Mk3 1973

Muscle anyday. The sheer raw power at the slightest press of the accelerator. It is just WOW.
those cars cant be driven by anyone and everyone, only a select few can tame those beasts, the ride quality is ****, but who need comfort when you are rolling with a 500 WHP factory tuned muscle, which is nearly 40% of the cost of a lambo but can leave it miles behind. The looks are rough and there is a lack of aerodynamics, but again with 500 hp who need aerodynamics, the air is just sucked in through the huge hood scoop so that the SRAI can really cool the supercharged 5L V8.
Man who needs power windows and power steering when we cruise at 100+ mph and who needs to steer? the drag strip doesnt have turns, does it?

These are cars that dreams are made of (and movies and books as well)
