Looking for an old alternator

I want an old alternator for a small hobby-project that I'm working on. It can be of any car/jeep, but should be in working condition. If you have recently changed yours, and have the old one lying around, plz sell it to me. Location - Pune.

They cost peanuts there.

Dude I think I still have the one from my santro. Changed because it was weak. If you can wait till mid june I will send it across with my bro who studies in pune

Hi ,

You could get an parts and assemble the alternator yourself . the cost could be around 1500 for a brand new one .

The alternator is a copy of the maruti 800 lucas alternator and you get a assembled alternator from cheaper parts for the above price . If you were in chennai I could help you out .,

Go to Janata scrap yard in Katraj. If you haven't heard about it go to Janata store bang opposite City Pride on Pune Satara road. If you need directions PM me.

Thanks... I'll try and get one from the scrap market. That may not be a good fit, as I need it to be as efficient as possible. But still.. I'll give it a try. Thank you guyz for your help.

If anyone else has it, that'll be great too. I can join the two in parallel and get more current.
